People will always have attachments to material things that they own especially when it comes to their hobbies. For me one of them would definitely be my car. My car has been with me for about seven and half years now and even now I still love it. I’ve been on some great journeys with it from the first drive around the block, racing up and down the mountains, and even doing a Sydney to Brisbane trip. It has taken quite a bit of punishment over these years but last week was the biggest as I got into my first car accident.

With 3 different type of anime conventions to attend to in Sydney there is always one convention I always look forward to attending, and that is the Sydney Manga and Anime Show, also known as SMASH. Out of SMASH, Animania, and Supanova, SMASH is definitely the most enjoyable of them all and last Saturday down at the Sydney Convention Centre was where it was held. So heading down to Darling Harbour with camera gear packed, it was time for a long and fun day.

It has been a somewhat very busy past 5 months for me, MrOptic, and Mini that we all have neglected Moé Moé Rabu lately, but despite this I do find time to attend a convention. And with the weekend just past it was Supanova Sydney weekend. So heading out to Sydney Olympic park once again with MrOptic it was time to do what I do, take photos of cosplayers. So hit the jump to check them out.

Over the past few years I think I have missed out on quite a bit of what happens locally here in Sydney since a lot was based on the BURNING PASSION. However since the passion has been on the downhill I’ve taken interest in a lot of other things. And food is one of them. So with last weekend being the Taste of Sydney Festival it was an opportunity to start the year on a good note. So grabbing my camera, plenty of cash I headed down to Centennial Park last Saturday.

Valentines Day is a day to spend with that special someone, but for me, it started off pretty bitter since this year I happen to have come down with a cold from the weekend and am still trying to recover. So I thought this year would be a disappointing year for me and the princesses but when I woke up from my afternoon nap I woke up to a surprise.

So once again it has come to the one traditions that I tend to celebrate more so than any other holiday. Yes it’s Chinese New Year and this year it is the Year of the Rabbit!

And for me there’s no better rabbit to celebrate Chinese New Year than with Reisen. Tewi is only there to appease Mini. So Happy Chinese New Year to all my readers. Kung Hei Fat Choi! May you be showered with many red envelopes, and hope you don’t blow it all in one go. For me I hope that this will be a more prosperous year and that I can find my very own Reisen to spend time with.

Time really does fly by so quickly these days as we’re already now in the New year and it’s the 5th New Year that Moé Moé Rabu has experienced. Looking back over the year it has been a somewhat of an uneasy year and that’s reflected in the lack of posts as well. I guess in a way 2010 has been one of those lackluster years in my life I’m steadily heading into my late 20′s. So let’s reflect on a few things that have happened over the past year shall we?
