Dengeki G’s Festival Vol.11 - Fortune Arterial

You know the last time I purchased a Dengeki G’s Festival was WAY back in December 2006, now that’s a long time ago, and what I got in that issue of Dengeki G’s Festival was full of Yoake Mae Yori Ruri-iro Na goodies and my beloved Feena dakimakura. Over the months since then, I haven’t noticed any other issues that have appeared at Kinokuniya, or there were things that didn’t interest me. However, about two weeks ago, when I went into the city for serious business, a trip to Kinouniya was in order. Of course I was there with my dear friend Roobar, and once again, the spending contest comes back to bite me once again. And this is one of the items I picked up:

Autumn 2007 Season Preview

With the Summer 2007 Season coming to an end in a few weeks, it’s time to look at what new series are going to be premiering, with quite a few that I am quite interested in, or have waited for quite a long time. But of course there are also some other series that do perk my interests so I’ll have a look at those as well. As usual, the place to get info on the shows coming up this Autumn can be found at Moonphase. But of course not all of us can read the moon language (well neither can I to an extent), so you can check out hashihime who’s done an pretty thorough job of outlining most of the new shows.

D.C. II ~Da Capo II~

Air Date: 1st October.

Now I’m a BIG BIG fan of the Da Capo series, and with Da Capo II being made into an anime, I’m just over the moon. A few recognizable seiyuu’s int he cast such as Horie Yui, Shizuka Itou, and Chihara Minori it’s looking to be quite a treat. Animation is done by feel who also did Otoboku, Da Capo Second Season, and Nagasarete Airantou.

Levelling up my Otakuism

Within my vast collection of anime merchandise I have figures, plushies, manga, DVDs, doujinshi, wallscrolls, posters, some cosplay items, and some other small trinkets. However, there was one thing missing. One thing that will take me to the next step in otakuism. So what is this one thing that I am missing?? Quite simple, a dakimakura (hug pillow).

The Result of my Burning Passion - Figure and Merchandise Spending 2006

With 2006 nearly over, I thought that I should look back to the various things in my life and one of them is my spending habits. Now I am an avid spender on both figures and merchandise and little do I realise how much I actually spend……..until now. Compiling a spreadsheet of both orders from HLJ and Amazon Japan I bring to you the result of my BURNING PASSION for 2006!

The Best and Worst Anime Awards for 2006

Well with the end of the year approaching and with the Fall Season over, it’s time to give my view on the notable series of 2006. Series that made you cry “MOÉ”, series that made you bash your head against the desk, series that made you want more, and series that make you cringe it deemed to be a rather difficult tasks to select which were my personal favourites. But I suppose also it was rather hard to remember what was shown over the year (I usually have a motto of watch and forget). But sitting back and thinking about it I have finally come to my decisions.
