Despite having my wallet become significantly lighter over the weekend, the merchandise must continue to flow in! Well I finally got myself a Botan (Fujibayashi Kyou’s pet pig from CLANNAD) plushy thanks to Hobby Search having it restocked (I think it’s the third restock). In fact this is actually the first time I used Hobby Search, but comparing to HLJ, there really isn’t much of a difference except Hobby Search only ship by express post. Anyway at least this is one item to cross off my Japan shopping list.

At least Aria-shachou won’t be lonely anymore. I was quite surprised when I took Botan out of the box as he is quite solid and very round. Funnily enough I actually started tossing him around like a football lol. For the time being I face the problem of placing him somewhere as I don’t really have room for plushies. Well I’m sure I’ll work something out. Now that I have a Botan plushy, all I need now is a long purple haired girlfriend.
Boxes are f***ing awesome. You can do so many different things like build a play fortress, use it to sneak around like Solid Snake, create a Danbo, use it as a pedestal, use it as a desk, anything. But there will always be one purpose for boxes and that’s to store items. But in situation of an otaku, it’s a package to have your precious merchandise mailed to you, and with Supnova Sydney 2008, that’s no exception. Many may have remembered from my Animania 2007 merchandise post that I spent a good $1000 AUD, this time it has gone beyond that. So hit the jump to check out what’s in the box.

Lately I’ve been a bit slack in posting of anything these days, though that’s because of work and being sick by the end of the week. Anyway I’ve managed to recover slightly and decided to go through some of the merchandise that has been flowing in the past few weeks. Seriously I don’t even remember when some stuff come in anymore, just like this item, ARIA The Origination DVD Volume 01. Hit the jump to check out what comes with Volume 01.

It’s quite rare for me to purchase figures that are outside the realm of moé. Often when friends, or even when my sister’s friends, look at my collection they notice that majority of the figures are all cute girls. That may be true but I do like to purchase a figure that is neither cute or sexy now and then. And that is where Clare of Claymore steps in. Although I would have to say that this figure was bought solely because of the Claymore hype when it was airing last year, but is it something I regret? Well hit the jump to check out the photos and read what I think.

Being a long time Kanon fan, it certainly has brought me a long way in my otaku lifestyle, but for a long long time I have waited for Kanon figures to come out and that was answered back when Kotobukiya released Ayu and Nayuki. However there was something missing from these figures that make them outstanding, something that makes them really special enough to rock my burning passion for anything Kanon. That is of course until the arrival of Kyoto Animation version of Kanon is where it really kicked off, and along came Max Factory to bring us Tsukimiya Ayu. Hit the jump to check out the rest of the photos.

Well it’s the long weekend for me here in Australia, and it’s a prime time to do some catch up on the backlog of figures. So I hope I can get through a lot of them in the next few days. This figure would have to be one of the most anticipated figures for 2007 after seeing the promotion pictures for it. Of course this figure is a big welcome to my ever-growing ARIA merchandise kingdom but by far would have to be one of the best items out of them all. So hit the jump to check out more photos for Max Factory’s Alicia Florence.

With ARIA having finished for good, it certainly has brought about many tears that we will never again see the magic of Neo-Venezia and it’s inhabitants. Although the manga and anime has finished, it still lives on, in the form of merchandise! When was the last ARIA-related merchandise post?? I don’t remember. Anyway these actually arrived about two weeks ago and have been sitting on the ever growing pile of loot, so I figured it’s time to have a look at what’s inside. Hit the jump to check out what’s inside Monthly Undine Vol 4-6.
