Ever since sola finished airing, I was sadden. But I can still enjoy sola all over again with the DVD releases! It has been about 3 months since the release of Volume 01 but I finally got around to actually looking at what goodies come with the limited press edition. And I must say, it doesn’t disappoint me.

Just as Matsuri was about to stab Aono, Aono manages to push Yorito off and only get cut in the shoulder. Just as Aono preapres to attack Matsuri, Yorito is standing in front of Matsuri. Since he refuses to move, Aono escapes from the theater and discover her wound won’t heal. Matsuri is heavily injured from stabbing heself, but has to find Aono, so Yorito decides to carry her on his back. Along the way, Matsuri remembers the sky when they first met and begins to list the type of skies. Yorito apologises to her for not being able to show her the real sky, but Matsuri feels that he’s shown her the sky through his eyes. It is then Yorito stumbles over and Matsuri realises that Aono’s Yaka powers are weakening.

Matsuri and Aono now confront each other on the rooftop. Aono tells Matsuri that Yorito chose her and Matsuri knows that Yorito wants what’s best for her sister, however she claims that she also likes Yorito and doesn’t want to be separated from him, and thus Matsuri leads Aono to an abandoned area of the city. With time to spare before Aono arrives, Matsuri sits together with Yorito in an abandoned cinema pretending to watch a horror movie. Once Aono arrives, the two begin fighting each other. Paper VS Sword.

Yorito is taking down the photos of the blue sky from his ceiling and he remembers how e talked to Matsuri about wanting to turn back everything with Aono. In the morning, Yorito helps out Aono with breakfast and she remembers how Yorito returned home last night revealing that he knows everything. But Yorito only wants his sister to be happy and that they should start over. Mayuko in the meantime is telling Matsuri and she and Takeshi will be leaving town soon as she feels she will stop Matsuri if she stayed.

Yorito and Mana return to the abandoned house where he stabbed Matsuri, but he can’t understand why. Before he leaves, Mana stops him as she has something important to tell him. Meanwhile Takeshi is in a convenience store buying a list of items and happens to run into Sae, who is working there. Over at the docks, Matsuri is telling Mayuko about Aono, but Mayuko asks about Yorito. Matsuri says she shouldn’t worry about it. Mayuko wants to know why Matsuri always dodges questions like that. Matsuri feels that if she doesn’t do so, it would be too painful for her.

Before attacking Matsuri, Aono says that she is no more and says goodbye. Matsuri manages to avoid being hit but is eventually forced to use her powers. She manages to take refuge in a tram car but Aono collapses some hanging steel supports onto the car. Although avoiding being crushed, Matsuri is badly injured to move. As Aono is ready to unleash her final attack, Matsuri says that it’s ok. Aono begins to have flashbacks from the past of Matsuri helping her but then throws her paper weapon. Though she missed Matsuri, Aono falls to her knees and begins to cry. Mayuko then turns up questioning who Aono is. Meanwhile Takeshi finds out that Sae has spotted Mayuko with Matsuri.

Yorito sees a bleeding Matsuri on the ground after he stabbed her, but before he knows it, he is sitting in school. He wonders if it was all a dream and whilst talking to Mana, he has blurry flashbacks of seeing Matsuri, resulting in him collapsing. Mana manages to take him home, and whilst she gets a towel, Aono has a talk with Yorito. Yorito asks Aono about last night and if they met someone on the way home as he feels he’s forgotten something important. Aono suggests that he get some rest and takes him to his room. Mana returns with a towel and basin, but Aono insists that she go home. Being placed in bed, Yorito feels that they should go out on a clearer day, but Aono says that she dislikes clear weather. Though Yorito feels that you can see different scenery and colours on a clear day. As Aono exits the room, Yorito bids her goodnight, and Aono does the same.
