Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S - 08

Plenty of action put into this episode although it seems that most fighting style of spirits is beams. Unless that’s just how medium-high level spirits fight which is kind of boring. Also I was right about this episode revealing Corti’s past and frankly I’m surprised that she was one of the main players in the Foreigners of Grief as well as being contracted to the leader Kuchiba Kaoru. However it all does fit well given that she is a powerful spirit and the title she was given matches that. Also no surprising this comes from the bad guy’s mouth as well.

Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S - 07

So finally the bad guys are revealed. At first I thought it was Leica and Baron, but it seems to be a bigger group than that. Still it still somewhat unclear on what their overall goal is other than to steal the special instruments, that’s what the treasure is. So now the series is starting to pick up and move onto the main plotline but as well we’re starting a bit about Corti’s past before she met Phoron. The enemy here knows about Corti very well and I’m interested in why she is called the Crimson Annihilator.

Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S - 06

Well I’ve been hoping for an episode that focuses on the Yugiri sisters and this episodes delivers exactly that. Given that I have never played the visual novels before I didn’t really know all that much about the Yugiri sisters so it was certainly a pleasure to see their past, and more surprisingly what Prine actually is. I think it was important to show some kind of development for the sisters since I love them so much that it was kind of disappointing that they weren’t getting much screen time, but with their story of Prine being half human and half spirit also ties in with the whole human and spirit relationships.

Figure Gallery: Corticarte Apa Lagranges (Movic)

Wow, it certainly has been a while since I last posted a figure photo shoot. I blame pure laziness for this, but hopefully that can change over the coming weeks as I am on a quest to rekindle my photography skills once again. The figure pile still stands tall but I am determined to get through it one way or another. So starting off we have something that came out a long time ago (like March 2008): Corticarte Apa Lagranges. Hit the jump to see more.

Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S - 05

Firstly, wow, Phoron can really pull through if he tries. I think this is the first time that I’ve ever seen him angry and determined. Usually we see him very passive and always doubtful, but I guess he’s the type to be more of a “man-up in the moment”. Although he still took a more mature method of dealing with Danguis, I still think he was too passive in how he handled it. Perhaps if he did it in a more confident manner I probably would’ve accepted it. Still it comes as no surprise that Danguis was easily under the control of others due to his pride and arrogance, but I do hope we won’t have to see him anymore in the future episodes as he is such an annoying side character.

Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S - 04

Well we’re finally getting somewhere with the underlying story of this series as we have Leica who was posing as someone important, but is actually one to be weary of. Still it was rather obvious from the start which is rather disappointing as I wished they sort of did it in a non-obvious way. But now we know that they are searching for some kind of “treasure” and it appears that the Principal knows its whereabouts, or that he is withholding it somewhere in the school. He must be anticipating that there are forces at work, hence why he got Eufiney to cover for him.

Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S - 03

So the first half of this episode covers Phoron being depressed about what Corti said to him in the last episode of how his commandias are boring. Still its quite a heavy thing to take given that Corti and Phoron are pretty close and if it weren’t for the Yugiri sisters and Rembart by his side, he would’ve have been depressed for a very long time. But it still shows that Phoron has no confidence in himself and that he was still being pressured that guy (he’s not really worth trying to remember). What really surprised me was Prine’s action of throwing her shoe at him. Usually she is the calm composed one, but as she mentioned that the commandia was painful, it definitely was.
