World Destruction - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “ZERO” by AAA

A fast paced song that seems almost technoish but rock/grunge at the same time. The OP sequence also shows us a little bit of action scenes that could possibly show us the quality throughout the series.

Zero no Tsukaima ~Princesses no Rondo~ - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “YOU’RE THE ONE” by ICHIKO

Another upbeat song from ICHIKO with all the familiar characters and including some of the newer ones that we’ll see this third season.

Hidamari Sketch x 365 - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “Hatena de Wasshoi” by Asumi Kana, Mizuhashi Kaori, Shintani Ryoko & Goto Yuko

Fast paced and colorful just like in the first season. Yes Hidamari Sketch is back with a second season and this OP theme is just as catchy as the first season’s OP theme.

Strike Witches - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “STRIKE WITCHES” by Ishida Yoko

A lot of action scenes in the OP sequence, as to be expected of a series that surrounds itself with action. Most of the scenes seem pretty similar to what was seen in this first episode so lets hope that this isn’t as far as Gonzo will go.

Da Capo II SS - 13

Well everything ended just how I thought it would and pretty much ended how Otome and Yume’s routes ended. Though one thing is that they were able to combine the two pretty well that there wasn’t any conflict in presentation but it was also balanced. After two months of Yoshiyuki disappearing, we see that Otome and Yume are the only ones who remember him most likely because of their magic powers but also because of their deep bonds with Yoshiyuki. It wasn’t just with Otome and Yume, it was also with everyone else who could sense that they were missing Yoshiyuki and that was enough to bring him back.

Antique Bakery - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “Life Goes On ~side K~” by CHEMISTRY

Its seems that the quality in animation for some of the recent new season shows are showing a lot of promise where it seems to take anime to a new level perhaps. The OP sequence reminds me a lot of ufotable’s claymation sequences but cardboard cutouts work better in this type of setting.

Da Capo II SS - 12

One of the many things that I liked about the original Da Capo series was the leading up to Sakura giving up on Junnichi for the sake of saving Nemu. At that time I haven’t encountered many anime series that had expressed such emotion amongst the characters that are very close to each other and that the love between siblings can go to such lengths. After a huge disappointment from the first season of Da Capo II, I had my doubts if the second season could bring forth what the original series was about, but after this episode, I can say that it has.
