Kuu is now free from Bastille with Kazuya trying to take her, but his powers somehow burst out from his body with him falling to the ground unconscious. Kuu is happy to see Kyoshiro but wants to also help the other Absolute Angels. So sprouting wings and with Megingjord’s staff, she flys off to the sky with Kyoshiro and frees the Absolute Angels, each going to the side of their beloved.
Even though Kuu and Kyoshiro are now together, it is short lived. Bastille was Kuu’s other half and by destroying it, she will disappear. With very little time, Kuu makes a pinky promise with Kyoshiro and list the many things she wants to do with him. But with the time coming closer, Kuu realises that she doesn’t want to disappear. As Kyoshiro turns around to hug her, Kuu vanishes, leaving only her feathers, then he cries out in tears.
Sometime later, Kyoshiro says goodbye to Kazuya, who is now lifeless and in a wheelchair. He meets up with Setsuna and apologises to her and that she can do what she wants with him. So Setsuna decides to cut her hair and wants to help Kyoshiro search for Kuu. Many years have passed and we see a young Kuu running in a field of flowers. She seems Setsuna, who now has regrown her hair and we see a man with long red hair. Kuu runs to him and returns to normal, hugging Kyoshiro, with kyoshiro saying “Let’s go, together”.

With Kyoshiro, Soujir, and himiko to save the Absolute Angels, they have now merged to become the one Angel, Bastille. Bastille is the Angel who caused the burning snow several years ago and is set to destroy the world for good. Inside Bastille are the four Absolute Angels, with all except Kuu chained. Kuu realises that she isn’t the empty shell that she is but in fact that she is whole due to her love for Kyoshiro. So with that, Bastille begins to break apart and Kuu falls out, with Kyoshiro jumping to catch her.

Kazuya finally captures Batraz and now has all the Absolute Angels. Kyoshiro, Soujiro, Himiko, and the Shield of Order band together and hope to rescue the Absolute Angels from Kazuya.

Kuu realises the prince in her dreams is definitely Kyoshiro’s brother, Kazuya. What Kazuya reveals is that Kuu is in fact the other half of Megingjord, and her real name is Cielo. After beating up Kyoshiro and telling him he found him annoying, Kazuya takes Setsuna and Kuu with him. But as Kyoshiro calls out Kuu’s name, she doesn’t recognise him.
Afterwards, Kazuya invades Mika’s lair and wants to take Murakumo. Murakumo ends up going berserk and attacking Kauzya, but gets caught up in the crossfire of Mika’s Mana Blast. Himiko is set free and interrupts the two and as a result, Kazuya acquires Murakumo, but also fatally wounding Mika. With only Mika and Himiko left, before Mika dies, she tells Himiko that she hates her, but she is the only one able to save Murakumo. Elsewhere, Kuu is with Kazuya in a field with Setsuna watching from afar.

- With Kyoshiro calling Kuu an idiot, he throws her onto the bed and walks out of the hoiuse with Setsuna watching from the roof.
- As Kuu is wondering around the school campus, Kyoshiro is floating in the lake, upon returning he finds out that Kuu went out as well and went off to find her, leaving Setsuna alone.

- With Kuu in shock of finding out she is an Absolute Angel, Mika draws her sword and cuts Kuu’s uniform to reveal the emblem that other Absolute Angels have. Told that she is the 5th Absolute Angel, Kuu begins to have flashbacks to her younger days and of when she used her powers. Meanwhile Setsuna is luring Batraz to Mika’s lair.
- Kuu finds herself woken up by Kozue, but she also finds out that she is in her classroom as if nothing has happened. Thinking it was all a dream Kuu starts to cry and goes to Kozue for comfort. During lunch, Kuu tells Kozue how she feels that a normal life is nice and that she is average and nothing special. Kozue tells her she’s not like that at all since she is an Absolute Angel.
