As I was reading through the Hayate no Gotoku Official Box booklet, I noticed in Hinagiku’s profile that 3rd March is her birthday. So Happy Birthday to Hinagiku! Also noted that she is 161cm tall, it’s like perfect height for a girlfriend, lol.

Continuing on with the Hayate line of posts and the merchandise posts as well, I thought it would be good be a good time to show something that combines the two things. By far there hasn’t been much Hayate no Gotoku merchandise that has tickled my fancy, or I’m just oblivious about most of them. So this little piece is actually the first of any Hayate no Gotoku merchandise that I’ve purchased and I hope there will be more in the future. So for the time being, hit the jump to check out Hayate no Gotoku Official Box.

You know I would be very interested to see how Hayate would cope with someone of his caliber, but without the debt thing. With this episode I was hoping for exactly that but to my disappointment it wasn’t like that at all. Instead we got something a little less conflict oriented and more bonding between Hayate and Nagi and all of that is thanks to Mecha Butler 13. 13 would be the refined version of Hayate as he knows exactly everything to serve Nagi and those around him, but he could never be better in Hayate in regards to the bond between him and Nagi.

When I saw last episode’s preview, I thought it would be a lot more Isumi focused, but instead it was more Wataru and Saki focused. Though that’s not entirely a bad thing as it brought more laughs than it would if it was Isumi focused. Wataru is quite the character when it comes to Isumi related things, but Saki becomes just as good when Wataru is in the blues. I love it when Nagi picks on Wataru as it brings out the most interesting reactions from Wataru, and what the hell was with Nagi’s arm stretching?

Now most Hayate episodes tend to be pretty good, but when it comes to character focus, it becomes even better. It certainly has been a while since we had something Maria focused so I was looking forward to this episode when I saw the preview. This episode is about Maria taking the day off to relax as it’s Nagi’s and Hayate’s way of saying thank you, but this is Hayate no Gotoku, nothing goes as according as planned. The hotel they chose for Maria’s day off was in fact already over-run with Hakuou Academy students, which of course bring about many laughs.

Recently I’ve been eager to watch more Hayate no Gotoku as recently the episodes have been getting pretty good. Anyway this episode is about Nagi’s manga that finally gets turned into an anime. Hayate mentioned that they already did something like this already but seriously, I can’t remember when that was, lol. Anyway the best parts of this episode was seeing the various parodies and all the characters from some recent, and other well known series. Though the one I loved the most was Mitsuki from Full Moon wo Sagashite.

Ah the influences of manga can be quite a thing, but when influences one of the richest girls int he world, it’ll surely bring about many laughs. This episode, Nagi comes to the idea that if she treats Hayate coldly, he’ll come chasing after her. Of course Hayate is a little too dense to realise anything and is rather occupied by exploring the many wonders on the cruise ship. Just seeing Nagi resisting to be nice to Hayate was hilarious on it’s own and how she nearly cracked after seeing Hayate’s puppy dog eyes was the icing on the cake.
