Opening Sequence:
OP: “Sekirei” by Hayami Saori, Inoue Marina, Hanazawa Kana, and Endo Aya
A group collaboration from all the four main female seiyuus and it’s about average for me. Still can’t beat Bamboo Blade in terms of group songs. Well the OP sequence was quite actiony and I wonder if it’s an indication that the series will follow suit, of course mixed in with the hundreds of fanservice shots plastered throughout the episode.

Opening Sequence:
OP: “Guilty Pleasure” by BECCA
I’m actually a little surprised that an English song is used for the opening theme as well as the ending theme. Though with dark themed anime series it usually goes well with it, for example Ergo Proxy. The OP sequence and the ED sequence aren’t anything too flashy nor does it give any indication on the direction the series is going in.

You know I never knew you could combine pro-wrestling and a romance comedy together, until now. Special A is another romance comedy series for this season but I’d have to say, I didn’t find it all that enjoyable for the first episode. Sure there were some funny parts but this just seemed so bland and I prefer Itazura na Kiss over Special A. Well this is a co-produced series by Gonzo and AIC, but I don’t think Gonzo has the know how on making a romance comedy (have they ever made anything similar?).

Opening Sequence:
OP: “Sakura Amaneku Sekai” by yozuca*
Now I’ve listened to a number of yozuca* songs since being a fan of the Da Capo series, yet this one sounds fairly different. It doesn’t seem to have that Da Capo feel to it all, but I’m sure after a few episodes I’ll probably end up loving it like the rest of yozuca*’s songs. And just as expected from the OP sequence, looks like the series focus is definitely on Otome and Yume.

Opening Sequence:
OP: “PHOSPHOR” by Miyazaki Ui
Opening theme I find to be alright, but nothing that is catchy or anything, but the OP sequence does showcase to us a lot of characters that’ll appear throughout the series though I’m not sure if that’s a promising thing.

Opening Sequence:
OP: “Swinging” by Muramasa☆
Well this was definitely an unexpected OP sequence given the small intro just before this. It makes me wonder if the series is going down the track like the .hack series by differentiating between the real world and the virtual world. Still, the Fatina (the blonde) is pretty cute.

Opening Sequence:
OP: “Kimi, Meguru, Boku” by Hata Motohiro
For some strange reason the opening theme reminds me a bit of Honey & Clover style of music, well more specifically Suneohair. Though it does go well with the overall theme of the series, which is a romance comedy.
