Da Capo II - 13

So in the end, Minatsu didn’t end up staying at the school just like I was predicting, but it was more surprising to see Minatsu agreeing with the decision to have her kicked out. But in the end, Minatsu has always thought about others rather than herself, and I think that’s also thanks to Yoshiyuki. It’s probably his nature of being kind and helpful to others probably rubbed off onto Minatsu as he spent more time with her, thus Minatsu didn’t want everyone to suffer any consequences because of her. However I was right about the entire student body supporting her.

Da Capo II - 12

With all the build up of Minatsu being bullied, it’s not all that surprising that an event like this can change everyone’s opinion about Minatsu. Still I kind of expected an event like this would happen as it needed a pretty large impact to change an entire student body opinion. But I think the one important thing this episode was how Maya’s opinion had changed about Minatsu and that she treats her differently. Kind of ironic how she believes that robots were what torn her family lifestyle apart, yet it is also a robot that saved her little brother. Funny how the world works.

Da Capo II - 11

With all the build up on the whole robot story, it’s becoming kind of unbearable to watch Koko’s frustration over the complication she has with Yoshuyuki and their relationship. Though I think it’s because that Koko is losing to Minatsu, where really, the connection between the two is really lacking the drama that is much needed in this series, and the robot story really doesn’t have all that much drama at the moment. Her gradual build up of realising that she is lying to her own feelings was definitely shown through her various actions and with her finally telling Nanaka about it, I guess we can see the two breaking up next episode.

Da Capo II - 10

So in the end, Yoshiyuki did end uprushig back home, but not because of Minatsu, but because of Otome. However this is still a major catalyst between Yoshiyuki and Koko since Koko is now mad at Yoshiyuki for not saying a word to her before running off. Of course being mad is one thing, but at this point, I think she will start doubting even more whether her and Yoshiyuki really are a couple, and eventually I can see them breaking up very soon. With so much happening now, especially with Minatsu’s identity pretty much revealed and as well as Otome’s fainting, Yoshiyuki will eventually spend less time with Koko and the distance between them will grow even further.

Da Capo II - 09

After a whole episode of revealing what Minatsu is to everyone, the series has once again taken another direction with everyone going on a school trip. A little strange seeing how the flow is towards the Minatsu side of things, but still, anything is better than the story focused on Minatsu at the moment. This time we’re focusing a bit on Koko and Yoshiyuki, but man, Yoshiyuki had pretty much neglected Koko throughout the entire trip so far and hasn’t really paid much attention to Koko at all. But with everything that happened so far on this trip, it appears that the two are getting further and further apart, yet Koko is making every attempt to be with him. But I get the feeling all her effort will be for nothing.

Da Capo II - 08

After such a brilliant last episode, I seriously can’t believe we’re gone back to a Minatsu story. I had a glimmer of hope that we would at least focus on another girl, like the Anzu or some more Koko development, however I knew everything was in despair after the first 2 minutes in. I’m not sure why they decided to do another Minatsu episode, unless she is vital to the overall story, but right now I can’t really see how it all plays since Yoshiyuki is still with Koko. But as of late, we haven’t seen Yoshiyuki spend time with Koko all that much anyway, so she’s kind of put to the side for the time being.

Da Capo II - 07

YES! This isthe one episode that I have been waiting for in this entire show, the Nanaka episode. Plenty of awesome Nanaka moments and many that I’ll probably only remember until the next anime season, but I have many mixed feelings in regards to this episode. From what I have seen of the series so far, ithas been a some what drag with the whole Yoshiyuki and Koko pairing and with the occasional Minatsu story development, however with this being a Nanaka episode, I feel as this really doesn’t do her justice, but more so I was hoping that this episode would introduce at least some drama to rock the boat.
