For those who have been following my blog know that a part of my Japan trip was to hire a car. Well I can say that I did indeed hire a car as well as the car that I wanted to hire. It was the first day of the car hire and all I can say was that I was hella excited about getting in the car and start driving. After 3 days of Comiket, I was pretty worn out by the end of it. The next few days would be simply resting up as the next event that I’ll be attending is a long way away so from this point till then is just other random adventures. At first I thought about not writing up my Comiket74 experience, but I figured that some people would like to have an idea of what I went through in preparation for when they go. Anyway this is my first Summer Comiket that I have attended but it is my 2nd Comiket. The last time I went was during Winter for Comiket69. At this point in the trip, it’s only a few days left until Comiket74. Normally I would rest up in preparation for such an event, but not for me. It was time for another long trip to the middle of nowhere, but this time Rin from Koi Aichaku and friend tagging along as well as my friend ACQ. Our destination? Washinomiya Shrine, home of the Hiiragi sisters from Lucky Star. Hit the jump to check out how the trip went as well as check out a short day in Shibuya for me.
With the three days and three nights of Kyoto over, it was time to head back to Tokyo once again where I will stay for the rest of my trip. There was only a few days till Comiket74 but there were some things to do beforehand that would surely keep me busy enough. Just a quick post to say that I have returned from the Land of Kawaii (or in essence Japan). After a whole month of being in Japan everything back home seems so different. Heck it even feels like that my PC isn’t my PC. So now that I have returned I have a day or two before heading back to the daily grind of working life so hopefully I can unpack everything soon and continue on with more Japan posts. I’m also waiting for a few more packages to arrive as well. But for the time being, I need some rest.
There is so much more that I want to see around Kyoto, but alas it was the final full day of us being in Kyoto. Due to a rather intense day of walking from Day 2, we decided to take it a little easier this time and the first place we headed to was Kinkakuji (or what is known as the Golden Temple).
