As we grow older time goes by so quick. So much has happened that it was hard to keep track of things and next thing you know I’m now a year older. So hit the jump to see what was what over the past year and where the future lies.

This exact day last year was the day I turned 25, but it was also the day that I would say goodbye to the family home. Moving in with my friend Roobar and Blox it was a world of laze. The laze factor increased ten fold but we also created one of the biggest otaku kingdoms we’ve ever seen. Of course this only lasted for 7 months until I moved into my sister’s new place.
The past year also saw me jump on the iPhone development bandwagon. This was encouraged by my company and it was also an opportunity to get back into application development which is something I have not done since my uni days. Up until today, I have managed to release 7 apps under the company’s name. I’m hoping in the future to release my own apps.
When I first adopted Erika, I thought she would be the only princess for me. But the past year saw me acquire another princess, Mashiro, as well as a massive increase in the wardrobe of the princesses. I would say that they would be close to having more clothes than me.
Being a car fan I also happened to attend the Sydney Telstra 500. My first V8 Supercars event ever! And I’ll definitely go again this year.
I even had the opportunity to have my photography work published for the very first time. Lets hope that I can continue doing so.
After a long 2 years of procrastination and issues with codebases and design layouts I finally got around to changing the look of Moé Moé Rabu. Although most of it is complete, there’s always room for more improvements/features.
And lastly, after another long 2 years, it was time for another EPIC adventure. A trip that takes me to 3 different countries and experience the world of 3 different cultures. Of course look forward to those posts as I continue sorting through the many photos that I took.
But the year wasn’t just full of good things. There were many bumps along the road but I won’t mention them here. And as a year has passed on, many things have changed in life as well. I no longer purchase figures as well as random anime merchandise. The exception is manga since its the one thing that fights off the boredom of the train ride to work. The focus has now shifted completely to dollfie dreams and having adopted a recent 3rd princess I am on a path to creating my ultimate 12 Sister Princesses (I’m pretty sure this will take me many years to achieve).
I must also think of the future ahead as I’m only a few years away from 30 and its time to start planning. I now need to consider things such as purchasing my own home, what kind of direction I want to go in with my current job/career. However the one thing that lingers in my mind the most is whether I want to continue living in Australia? With the holiday over and a new perspective on the world its one thing that I should consider.
But for now its a time for celebration, or despair, as I am now 26 years old. Although the body is still young, my mind feels much more older and the only thing I want to do now is laze, and possibly eat some cake.
