With December coming up soon, another Dolpa event is upon us. Dolpa22 is a matter of weeks and VOLKS has released info about limited items that will be available and this has certainly caught my eye:
Although I never finished blogging Tayutama, I did however finished watching the series. Overall the series was mediocre however it was the character designs that won me over, especially that of Mashiro and Ameri. So I was certainly surprised to see a Mashiro dollfie dream be released at the upcoming Dolpa. Below are more images of Mashiro sourced from VOLKS website:
That of course isn’t the end of it. From what I notice of the past few Dolpa events, whenever a dollfie dream character is released, there are always extras to compliment. As since this is Mashiro we’re talking about, it’d have to be nothing other than the kimono that she wore (sourced from VOLKS website):
The Mashiro dollfie dream is priced at a moderate ¥54,000 (excl. tax), whilst the dress set is priced at ¥13,800 (excl. tax). Right now I am HIGHLY tempted by this Mashiro dollfie dream but I will have to see how the budget goes. One thing for sure though is that I can afford the dress set at least. Also I will most likely hold off until the Dolpa After Party event as there is a better chance of obtaining it there than through Yahoo Japan Auctions.
So what do you think? Is it time for me to have another princess join the household?
You know … I have always found dollfies creepy and hideous, but even I think this one is super cute!
See is a cute one, even though I am unfamiliar with her character. I actually thought I was looking at Horo for a split second when her pictures first hit figure.fm. I imagine that someone might just custom make her into Horo in the near future. :p
Good luck if you decide to go for her. Quite a different doll then Erika, but they might look good together. ^_^
