After a disappointing two episodes of Yumina, its good to see we are back on track with the somewhat stagnant story and full of Ameri goodness. Seeing Ameri’s growing jealously over Mashiro and Yuuri’s relationship brought some life back and with Ouryuu leading her almost like her trueself. But I must say that the constant flashback to the same scene did get annoying. Also I notice that whenever Ameri is on screen, they use a lot of slanted panning shots on her which confuses the hell out of me of why they keep using it.

Impressions
But as I continue watching this series, I’m starting to think that Ameri is a better match for Yuuri than Mashiro will ever be. There’s been more development on Ameri and she has a deeper bond with Yuuri than Mashiro has. Mashiro at the moment only has the whole deity and descendant thing going on. But when I think back to episode 1 I remember the deity and priest being separated due to the tayutai.
Defeating Ouryuu also seemed a little too easy for Yuuri and Mashiro. Its like it just sucked out any other storyline left in this series and does make me wonder where it’ll go from here. But if Ouryuu really is as strong as they say, I don’t think he’s defeated just yet. So for the time being there is still the issue of Yuuri x Ameri so I guess we’ll be seeing something leading towards a conclusion for the two. Lets hope she gets a happy ending at least.
