Moé Moé Rabu

So we’re finally covering the last and probably the least interesting of all the girls in this series, Yumina. Although she plays the “imouto” of the series, I just can’t seem to get to like her as a character at all. Firstly I don’t find her all that cute and she doesn’t really stand out that much compared to say Mashiro, Ameri, or Mifuyu who are much more diverse. Even Nue stands out more than Yumina. But in a way I find it somewhat fitting that one half of the Pheonix tayutai would pick Yumina’s head to sit on. Though at this point it makes no sense why they chose Yumina.

Impressions

We also get to see Yuuri transform into his female form again. I never expected to be seeing this again at all. But just like the onii-chan that he is, it’s all for Yumina’s sake. We also see a small flashback of Yumina comforting Yuuri so I’msure we’ll see more on that possibly in the next episode. Even with that she feels pretty helpless having Yuuri protect her from everything and that sparks the male Pheonix to rise in power. I just hope it’s not going to be something cheesy that brings the two birds together.

As cute as adult Mashiro looks, you still can’t beat the smaller version of her. There should be more screen time for Mashiro in this form and it’s even cuter when she’s arguing with Nue. I would also say that’s probably the only thing keeping me interested in this series so far. It’s turning out rather bland at the moment so this is another one of those series where its the character design that makes me push forward with it. Still it’s halfway so lets hope something good happens in the 2nd half.
