Moé Moé Rabu

So the first half of this episode covers Phoron being depressed about what Corti said to him in the last episode of how his commandias are boring. Still its quite a heavy thing to take given that Corti and Phoron are pretty close and if it weren’t for the Yugiri sisters and Rembart by his side, he would’ve have been depressed for a very long time. But it still shows that Phoron has no confidence in himself and that he was still being pressured that guy (he’s not really worth trying to remember).What really surprised me was Prine’s action of throwing her shoe at him. Usually she is the calm composed one, but as she mentioned that the commandia was painful, it definitely was.

Impressions

It doesn’t come to much of a surprise of the Yugiri sisters to be the ones to show Phoron what he was missing. Perse is always the cheerful one and always so confident that it finally rubbed onto Phoron. Though I see it more that Perse was enjoying performing her commandia but in a way I don’t see how Phoron came to the conclusion that he performs commandias for the one he loves. But I guess that would one of many answers that he could’ve come up with, but I think it gives it much more meaning when he says that he performs for the one he loves. It shows how important the bond he has with Corti and we finally hear call Corti by her nickname.

Despite Corti taking off, she still watches over Phoron and I was certainly amused at her attempt to make an egg sandwich, and when she found out what Phoron thought of her cooking. Just as Phoron declared his reason to perform commandias is for the one he loves I found it even more romantic when Corti was asking Phoron to perform only for her as its her way of expressing her feelings. Also just as Phoron has leveled up so has Corti now revealing to have 6 wings instead of 4. In the ED sequence, we do see her with 8 wings but I think it’ll be a while till we see that.

Now that the two are back together I hope the story starts picking up the pace given the mysterious meetings that the Principal has as well as a mysterious figure appearing. It also seems that Phoron and Corti will play a big part in the events to come as well. I only wish that the subs come out faster for this, else I’ll have to start watching through the raws.
