Opening Sequence:

OP: “The fine every day” by Kicco

Well this episode has changed my perception of Mashiro completely. After the first episode I thought she would be a very pure, well mannered girl. Well we do see that in this episode but also a much more sly side to her. Seeing her click her teeth when interrupted by Ameri was what really did it, and it was great. Still it’s probably more got to do with her old fashioned methods of young newlyweds, or it may be she really wants to get in Yuuri’s pants.

Impressions

But as an old fashioned goddess, she needs to catch up on the times thus enrolling into school. As expected of a goddess to get perfect scores on the entrance exams, but in the end it backfired on her and now Mashiro is separated from Yuuri by being in a different section of the school. Still this could prove interesting as I can imagine Mashiro sneaking out now and then to see Yuuri, but with Ameri and Yumina having an ever watchful eye.

Still I don’t get why it took so long for people to question Mashiro about the ears on her head and assuming it was some kind of hairstyle. But I also don’t get how Mashiro doesn’t use her powers to hide them either. Though I guess it comes back to her not knowing too much about the modern world and that not many people see a spirit that often. So now she is an outcast but I’m sure Mashiro will bounce back. Oh and to note, I thought she looked good in traditional kimono, but damn she looks cute in a school uniform.

This episode we also see the OP and ED sequences. The OP seems to reveal more about the girls with each seemingly like a spirit themselves. However I think the ED wins over with the CG artwork which appears to be made for the anime series. I don’t recall seeing any of those in the CG set that’s available.
