Moé Moé Rabu

So with Hayate failing to get Nagi in first place in the marathon, he’s sent off for butler training at a church. As always he never seems to have much luck with anything, but that’s one of the great things about this series. One person’s bad luck is another person’s entertainment. Though right now this part of the manga is a blur to me as I’m not sure which volume it all occurred but finally Sonia is introduced into the large array of characters. I was pleasantly surprised to be hearing Yui Horie’s voice and was amused at how well she fits the role.

Impressions

As always Ayumu has a very brief appearance in this episode and her vision of how Nagi treats Hayate I would say is right on the money. Though the scene of Hayate being Ayumu’s butler does occur in the manga, but again I don’t remember where it was set. I get the feeling it was before the butler training. It’s also rare to see Nagi with her hair down and I must say that I do prefer her like that rather than in her twintail style. It gives a more ojou-sama look and doesn’t make her look like a brat. Recently I’ve been liking the ojou-sama character (<3 Mugi-chan from K-ON!).

Still seems that the best is always last, and by last I mean Hinagiku. Seeing Hinagiku in her angry mode at Hayate for the various things that he  does always leads up to her pouting about it afterwards. Truly a tsundere at it’s best. But I do look forward to Hinagiku in action in the next episode along with Hayate and his somewhat makeshift team of adventurers.
