Now this is probably one of the post that many of you readers are looking forward to, my Summer Wonderfest 2008 merchandise purchases. If you have read my previous post about Wonderfest then you’ll know that I spent quite a bit, and as a group, I don’t think I’ve carried so much merchandise all at once in my entire life. So hit the jump to check the breakdown of items that I personally own.

Starting from the top left row, we have Movic/Solid Theater’s Dark Saber. At first I didn’t want the Saber but my friend did and since I was helping out Tamarket purchase their items, I bought two Sabers and kept one for myself. This item was ¥6800. Since there was 6 of us, we each purchased two Sabers, so that was a total of 12 Sabers, lol.

After that we joined the line for the GSC/Max Factory goods, and boy was this line long. On the site it said maximum of 3 of each item per person, but seems they changed it on the day and allowed only 2 maximum. So pretty much I grabbed two of everything, and with the help of a friend, he grabbed me extras. So in the end I got 2 Mikus, 2 Suzakus, 2 Melissas, and 2 Yukis. All 8 in total cost me ¥24,000 (I forget the price for them individually). That CD was actually a gift whilst waiting in line so hoorah for freebies. Oh and one Yuki is actually for a friend.

After helping Tamarket with packing their stuff in boxes, I went straight off to the Kotobukiya store and was expecting a line. Luckily enough there was like no one there and I went straight up to the counter and bought the alternate coloured version of Tamaki. In fact I bought two since one was for a friend. This cost me ¥5,500.

The last item is the Moyashimon plushy that I found randomly picked up for ¥2,500. So tallying up the total I spent about ¥38,800 on myself personally. I spent more as I helped purchase items for others but I’ve already been paid back for those. I reckon I could have spent more but the fact that my feet were dying it didn’t help all that much.

Oh and for those wondering why I have 4 Mikus, I have 2 already at home, I just want each Miku to display all the different faces. Also DUAL LEEKS!!
