Hidden treasures of an Otaku Room

One of the things about my room is that it gets cluttered fairly quickly. Though I guess that applies to anyone but with my room being so small it’s a battle to place my merchandise anywhere. Well over the weekend I decided to do some cleaning in preparation of the incoming loot that I will be shipping back from Japan in hopes to fit it all in. I was also looking for my DS Lite and PSP which I had somehow lost in my room. Eventually I found them but also amongst the clutter I found these:

These were all stashed away in one of my drawers. Just a collection of keychains and phone hangers that I have bought over the past two years. I also didn’t realise I had bought two Alice Carroll phone hangers either and I seriously don’t remember when I bought them from Tamarket. I’ll probably give it away or something but unsure which of my circle of friends would want it. Oh and I did find my DS and PSP in the same draw.

Another item I found was on my bookshelf was this:

Having a look through my expenditure records of this year it’s not even recorded. So I don’t even remember when I bought this book nor can I find the receipt for it. But I do get the feeling I bought it earlier this year at Kinokuniya. When I found it it was still shrinked wrapped and right now it’s still shrink wrapped. Yeah, I just placed it back on the bookshelf. In the end after cleaning up, I still don’t have that much more room. I think I’m in trouble come September.

ron~: It’s not exactly untidy, I just place stuff somewhere randomly and end up forgetting about it.

EvilDevil: Ah not exactly, but my stash of hentai is actually easily visible upon entering my room, lol.

Optic: Oh god I don’t want to think about end of year clean ups.

I’ll be taking my share with Konata-chan kukuku~ (kidding kidding xD;)

My room’s small & cluttered too, though, not because of figures and such u_u;;~ I’m just a hoarder in general ;_; I surprised myself when I cleaned my room yesterday, took me just one whole day rather than the week it usually does… then again, I just shoved all the random stuff in 2 boxes to sort through later ^^;;

I should get a box for all my expenditures… very disorganised on that u_u; Thanks for mentioning that.

You should see my room.
A lot of small anime goodies around all over the place.
It’s easy to loose things here.
Still, nice old loot!!!!!!
There are times I forget what I bought and bought two items that are the same…

Aria phone hangers? Awesome. An extra Alice phone hanger? Better not let it near me within X feet….

That aside, room cleaning/reorganization can be refreshing (in the end, not the dust that flies around during the cleaning). I do it on a monthly basis, mostly cause my desk can be litter with little things in a matter of days and it’s quite unsightly =/.

Koshiko: My room is really small that it’s not really a room, more of a study that I moved into. Oh how I wish I would get a larger room one day.

Rin: I’m sure there is more in my room that I forgot I bought.

Hiji: If I ever come to Canada, I’ll make sure to bring it with me and give it to you as a present.
