OP: “flower of bravery” by fripSide
Another series based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms but replace all the male characters with moe girls and it’s more than likely something right up my alley. I would have to say this is the 4th anticipated show for me this season as I usually take a liking to series that are h-game turned into anime series, but I was kind of skeptical before watching this. However I did find the first episode to be quite enjoyable on a number of levels. Of course the first items is so many cute girls.

Impressions
At first I thought that this would be a rather bland start with the characters being not all that interesting. Well technically they still aren’t, however the humour involved helped in dissolving that issue. I guess in a sense I’m probably comparing this too much to Ikkitousen since it’s the only series that comes to mind that has the same characters and based off the same story. But with Ikkitousen, I did occasionally get bored with certain parts, but that’s probably also that I don’t know the RoTK story at all.
The chibi Kanu and the other characters in the ED sequence totally threw me off as it wasn’t something I expected at all. So that’s one thing to look forward to in this series. Action wise I thought the fight between Chouhi and Kanu was done remarkably well and with scenes like Kanu cutting the tree I can expect some great fighting/action scene once the other characters are introduced.Still this is based off a h-game so we’re also in for some fanservice for sure. Not that it’s a bad thing as Kanu is pretty damn hot.
Still I get the uneasy feeling that this might not turn out as good as I’m making it out to be. I have a tendency to like crappy shows but with Dogakobo in charge of production (known for producing Myself Yourself) and with director Nakanishi Nobuaki (Sumomo mo Momo mo) I could be proven wrong. Well it’s a definite show to add to the list for this season.

Oh man the ED sequence is really cute with all the chibi characters. Even moreso seeing how there appears to be perculiar relationships between them.

Yay Kanu looks great here. Saw the full list of girls in the cast, some of them are just so WTF lolies though.
This series will probably end up being average. I’ll still follow it, though. Unless it starts sucking XD. One thing I really like is the costume designs. They look neat.

This show looks like prism ark, are they by the same production? Lets hope it isn’t as crappy as prism ark, the first episode looks fairly good, esp with moe moe ed and chibi-ed chibi zhu ge liang.
Panther: It seems that Koihime Musou caters for all fetishes here. Personally I like the more well-endowed girls.
M12: Even if it ends up being as bad as H20 I’d still watch it.
Gee: Koihime Musou isn’t produced by the same studio as Prism Ark. I also hope it doesn’t turn out as bad as Prism Ark either but I’m sure the moe factor and the chibi characters can help prevent that.
