The Da Capo fandom in me

Now I would say I’m a man who is pretty passionate about his anime fandom. But I would also say I’m a man who likes to just spend money on a lot of random things (though I would say most of it is from the influence of Roobar). Normally these two join forces and produce a variety of results. However when the fandom is focused on a particular section, the money factor is pretty much out of the equation. For each person who watches anime, there is always that one series that they hold in high regards above everything else and for me, it’s Da Capo.

My close anime friends know of my fandom very well and have even contributed to making my evergrowing empire of merchanidse grow as large as it is now, as well as knowing how to make my wallet lighter. All I know is that when I’m in Japan in August, I’m gonna go nuts. But in the mean time a nice little item had arrived at my doorstep to ease the fact that Da Capo II SS had finished:

For some reason this came in a HUGE box, a box big enough to hold two Revoltechs.

Although I wouldn’t exactly say I’m as big of a fan of the siscon as a particular tanuki, but I do admit that Nemu is the one that made me diverge towards that path. But alas I lack one important element to making this purchase that much more glorious, I lack my very own imouto. So I guess my only option left is to have my future girlfriend wear this or better yet, save this for my future daughter, assuming my future wife doesn’t kill me for such a reason.

    LOL!!!!!!
    So random.
You have a fandom in Da Capo while for me. My fandom belongs in the realm of Lucky Star and Haruhi. Everytime I see anything Lucky Star or Haruhi Suzumiya, I go nuts.
Yes, when we hit Japan, we all will go nuts and buy stuff like mad!!!!!!!!!!

I just started watching the first Da Capo last night (up to episode 14 I think). Moe city. Nemu is my favorite character so far. (:

It was quite addicting. Usually I don’t marathon anime like that but I guess it was right up my alley. lol

Haven’t seen this one =o Though, it’s probably not something I’d normally watch anyhow, lol.

Glad you have a favourite series you can go crazy on, The only thing I currently go crazy on at the moment are Figmas, yet I have none u_u~ (Haruhi was sold out @ Supanova, and I want her, Lelouch or Suzaku first (tho, how I can get Suzu, I have no idea >.<;;))

Soon enough you’ll have your own gf, though, she’d be easier to convince if she liked the series too (or the collar in general, no need to say anything, lol).

Btw, thanks for adding me to your blogroll (with a lower-case ‘f’ too~ Shin thinks it cuter that way, have to agree :3), it’s always good to see a fellow Sydney-sider, more fun to run into each other at cons and such =D

    When in Aug are you flying? =o Take me with you~! (for whatever reason you’re going, lol) xD;;

Rin: Then I guess you’ll be more excited about the Lucky Star pilgrimage than me.

Punynari: I would consider Da Capo to be my first love of the harem genre. One day I woke up on a Saturday and started watching Da Capo from start to finish just because I was in the mood for it, lol.

Koshiko: Well if my future gf likes wearing stuff like this and is into anime (not necessarily as much as me) then that would be truly awesome.

M12: Well if you ask nicely enough I just might.

Either that you can appeal for an imouto now :P That’s a lovely get! I can imagine your gf going “Adun-nii” already :)

I love bell collars!!! I made my own Ichigo (from tokyo mew mew) bell collar (red ribbon) when I was younger. Used a bell from a Giant Lindt chocolate bunny lol. So much cuteness.
I started watching DCII, only got to ep 3 tho. Will resume watching sometime, cos I wuv Koko-chan!!!
