Moé Moé Rabu

Well this episode had certainly taken me by surprise as we see both Otome and Yume joining Yoshiyuki and friends on their ski trip. This never happened in the game, but with the focus of this series on the two sisters, it’s actually a nice welcome. Although it’s a shame that they didn’t have the scene of Yoshiyuki and Wataru trying to peekat the girls taking a bath and then getting caught by Nanaka, as that was one of the funniest parts of the ski trip in the game.

Impressions

This episode focuses on Yume and the fact that she saw a dream of an accident waiting to happen. Though for her to distance herself from Yoshiyukiis certainly taking it a bit too far as that’s her way of protecting him especially since she was the one who gets in the accident. However I must say it was quite a rare sight to see Yume smile like that as even in the game she is tsuntsun pretty much through the whole start of the game.

In any case, this episode give us an insight into Yume’s powers and it certainly seems to be the power of seeing the future in her dreams. Later on we’ll probably see that play into effect on the storyline as I’m sure she’ll know what will happen, but whether she can prevent it is a different issue. The fact here is that she tried to prevent the accident, but regardless it still happened. Although not much happened in this episode, we certainly got a lot of it from Yume. Now if only she could be a little less tsuntsun all the time.
