Tower of Druaga - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “Swinging” by Muramasa☆

Well this was definitely an unexpected OP sequence given the small intro just before this. It makes me wonder if the series is going down the track like the .hack series by differentiating between the real world and the virtual world. Still, the Fatina (the blonde) is pretty cute.

Itazura na Kiss - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “Kimi, Meguru, Boku” by Hata Motohiro

For some strange reason the opening theme reminds me a bit of Honey & Clover style of music, well more specifically Suneohair. Though it does go well with the overall theme of the series, which is a romance comedy.

To Love-Ru - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “forever we can make it!” by THYME

A very colourful OP sequence that covers all the girls in the To Love-Ru series and some Lala fanservice shots through into the mix, but I do like the opening theme as it’s quite catchy. Definitely prefer this over the Ed sequence and ending theme.

xxxHOLiC Kei - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “NOBODY KNOWS” by Suga Shikao

The style of the opening theme I really like especially when it hits the chorus. Very upbeat and catchy and I probably prefer this than the opening theme from the first season.

Allison to Lillia - 01

Opening Sequence:

OP: “Tameiki no Hashi” by Kuricorder Quartet and Yukawa Shione

With the OP sequence mainly containing a lot of flying scenes, it goes well with the symphonic sounds of the opening theme itself. Very nice and soothing but gives feeling of a journey that is to be unfolded.

Hayate no Gotoku! - 50

So we’re finally back to the usual zany antics that happen in Hayate no Gotoku and this episode is another Nagi and Ayumu pairing. I’ve mentioned before that I liked episode featuring Nagi and Ayumu and this is no exception. Both show their strengths and weaknesses in this contest as well as their rivalry for Hayate’s heart, but what I like best about these types of episodes is that it also shows that they can be good friends as well.

Bamboo Blade - 26

For a final episode, this didn’t really feel like a final episode with it’s unusual slow pacing, but given that most of the action was resolved last episode, this is more of a winding down of the series. Starting off with Rin and Tamaki’s little date to watch the Blade Braver movie. Oh man they should make a Blade Braver series or movie. It was pretty funny to see that Tamaki’s voice was dubbed over but more funny seeing the double starry eyes afterwards.
