So Lala is now finally attending school with Rito, but her introduction into the school was certainly short lived this episode as we rushed through most of the events pretty quickly. But hey, there was plenty of humour though right now it’s more of a “hehehe” than say a “hahaha” and the only thing that keeps this show enjoyable is the fanservice. Not that it’s a bad thing, and at least it’s more tasteful than Kanokon.
This episode we see the developing relationship between Rito and Haruna as they both at least talking to each other rather than watch each other from afar. But there is always the misunderstandings which is one of the things I usually love in a harem type of show. It came so close to clearing those misunderstandings up, yet by the end they’re still there. Still, that’s just a running factor in this series. Rito, Lala, and Mikan going through the city seeing the sights was enjoyable, and watching Lala get all excited about everything is like having a kid walk into a candy store. Even after 3 episodes, I still can’t get used to the voices of the characters but Haruna sure is cute.
It still seems a while till we’re introduced to some of the other characters as with this episode, and from the looks of next episode, we’re still continuing on a bit with Haruna and Rito. And with Lala doing some home-style cooking it can only mean more trouble for Rito. Still after three episodes into the series, I think it’s still missing something to give it that wow factor. The animation is definitely there but I think we’ll see that x-factor once the other characters are introduced. So lets hope that comes soon.
