Moé Moé Rabu

Well this was certainly a bit of surprise, though I guess we could see it coming. We’re moving into a bit of Anzu’s story which in my opinion is much better than Koko’s from what I can remember in the game. It’s not so much a bad thing since it pleases the Anzu fans out there and lets hope that they don’t drag out her story too much like they did with Minatsu’s story in the first season. Anzu I have always found pretty awesome since she is pretty much the female version of Suginami in the way that she is pretty sly and sneaky at times, and if they are moving into more of Anzu’s story, I wonder if we’ll see parts of the skiing trip.

Impressions

Though the first episode gave us the impressions of going full throttle into Otome and Yume’s story, we still get some nice developments for both of them. Yume is pretty popular amongst the male students of the school and we can see Yume’s growing attachment to Yoshiyuki, a true element to any tsundere. If anything Yume is the one who resembles Nemu the most, but I still prefer Otome anyday. I did love how Yume is just staring at Yoshiyuki but hides her face when he faces her, but alas, like most protagonist, he is pretty oblivous to it all. Of course we still have to factor in that Yoshiyuki sees her nothing more as a little sister at this stage but I’m sure he’ll soon come to understand her feelings soon enough.

Otome’s side of things is also developing nicely what with her attention being directed at some of the accidents occurring around Hatsunejima. The reminder of her being a magic user for justice still lingers around shows that she’ll soon be very distant to Yoshiyuki and Yume, but I guess that depends on how things develop after the school festival. So for the time being we’re moving steadily on Anzu’s story as it’s all leading up to the school festival, and that’s when things start getting interesting.
