For some very strange reason the second episode feels a lot different to the first one, and I’m not sure why that is. It may just be the voices of the characters as I’m probably not used to it yet, or either I’ve been watching too much lately, lol. Anyway I enjoyed the second episode as much as the first but I can only say one thing, Mikan is the best girl so far. Knowing her dear brother so well as to warn him not to do anything stupid, but also knows that he doesn’t have the guts to carry out such actions is even better. Shame she doesn’t appear all that much in the manga.

Impressions
A few bits and pieces were thrown in from chapters 2-4 for this episode, which isn’t all that bad since we’ll have to be introduced to other characters really soon and having Lala attend school with Rito. However the whole marriage proposal and method to cancel the marriage is all anime original (relatively sure that didn’t happen in the manga) and it gives a chance for more perverted things to happen. Of course Rito being Rito, he couldn’t go through with it.
Well the story is moving at a pretty good pace, but I don’t think we’ll start seeing some of the more funnier, and probably more perverted things until the other characters are introduced, which I hope will be very soon. In the meantime it’ll just be focused on Rito and Lala becoming friends with Haruna.

People say this is another one of those mindless fanservice shows. Well, I hate to admit it, but I’m enjoying this one quite a bit. It’s entertaining.
Eye Candy (:
It does feel like I’ve seen this storyline before in a lot of other shows but I can’t stop watching.
This episode felt off to me too. I looked into it and realized that this episode was a departure from the manga.
They skipped the whole Rito telling Lala that he does not like her and the Zastin fight.
Here’s hoping Mikan gets more screentime–she’s probably my favorite character so far.
Mindless? Yeah some people does say that. Personally I think it’s more interesting than something like Kanokon so far. Seriously, I like fanservice but wow, Kanokon just makes it so hard for me to watch.
zqube: Oh I totally forgot about the fight with Zastin. Yeah it does seem the anime has strayed from the manga already but it at least speeds up the storyline a bit.
Love this episode. I feel sorry for the guy. Can’t get the guts to touch her breast. If I had a wife like that. I would not let here go and have a chance to rule the galaxy.
