Well I certainly hate to say it, but it seems for sure that the Kyou/Ryou and Tomoyo arcs are over and done with. The focus of the series seems to have shifted now towards Nagisa’s arc but we also get a bit of story behind Tomoya as well. However I am surprised that the pacing has picked up quite a bit and that Tomoya is now staying with Nagisa’s family. From the preview last episode, I was actually hoping we could see some development of Tomoya’s situation with his father. I also noticed a lot of distant shots this episode, which could reflect the distance between Tomoya and his father.

Wait, are my eyes deceiving me? Is the animation actually gotten that little bit better since the seris started? Either that or I’m going horribly blind (well I wear glasses so I’m halfway there), so it’s got me wondering if they saved most of the budget towards the end of the series. But my guess is that it’s only a one off thing given that this episode is where Takuma confesses to Hayami. After last week’s somewhat bizarre filler episode, it’s good to see that we’re progressing on with the story. I figured as much that Otoha would stick around rather than disappear for good, as it means her role in the story has finished and she’ll simply be watching over everyone now.

As I was reading through the Hayate no Gotoku Official Box booklet, I noticed in Hinagiku’s profile that 3rd March is her birthday. So Happy Birthday to Hinagiku! Also noted that she is 161cm tall, it’s like perfect height for a girlfriend, lol.

As some of you may know, I had a little online ordering mishap at the start of February. In the end I did get a reply from Animebooks.com about 2 weeks later after posting about it and it’s all bad news. They do apologise for sending me the incorrect item and that I can return it for a refund. However, after having a read through the return policy it states that they do not refund shipping. At that I figured it’s not worth returning the item back at all as I would have to ship the item back myself out of my pocket, and two I would only get half of what I paid in total back. I paid $39 USD and then $40 USD on top for shipping. So yeah, you can tell I’m not too happy about that.
The other bad part is that I didn’t receive any explanation of why I got sent the incorrect item in the first place. Although I may be a little over my head about this point, but I still like an explanation of how they sent the incorrect item that is listed on their site. Well it’s all in the past now and I just had a stroke of bad luck with an online purchase, everyone gets one at least once. But I for one know not to buy from Animebooks.com ever again. Though thankfully for me I’m not the only one who got sent ARIA Premium Posterbook by mistake. A reader of Moé Moé Rabu informed me that it also happened to him about a week and half ago.
So what am I going to do with the ARIA Premium Posterbook 2? Well I’ve decided to sell it off. Personally for me, it would just sit here in my room unopened since I already have one and I figured it would be better off in the hands of another ARIA fan. For the time being, I have a few people I know that are interested and I’ll see if they want to pay the price I have in mind for it, $80 AUD (I originally paid $88 AUD so I’m not even making a profit let alone making it even). Either way, I’ll make some ARIA fan happy.

When I first read this chapter of the ARIA manga, it was another wonderful story of both Alice and Athena’s bonds and with this episode, it just made it absolutely brilliant. Alice has always been the type to hide her feelings from others and tries to act mature (would that be classified as a tsundere?), but Athena’s plan of having amnesia was just a brilliant way to make Alice reveal her true feelings. Although a real roundabout way of doing so, but a somewhat painful way of doing so, it does flesh out the importance of bonds between people, and I see that as one thing Alice learnt from all of this.

Well I think Tama-chan has finally meet her match, and possibly the one person that can defeat Tama-chan. Rin this episode has shown that she is very capable with a shinai and she held her ground quite well against Tama-chan. But it’s not just only in kendo, but possibly in her passion for Blade Braver as Rin has also shown how passionate she is about Shinaida. So it’ll be a pretty awesome match when the two meet again at the kendo tournament, but my guess is that Tama-chan has a good chance of losing to Rin. Rin also being a year older would have more experience than Tama-chan assuming they both started kendo around the same age.

Yep, I somehow broke Moé Moé Rabu’s theme after I was messing around with some plugins but I only made it worse. Have reverted back to the previous theme but since the Summer Sun theme hasn’t been tested on the latest versions of WP, stuff may break. If they do, please let me know at adunATmoemoerabu.net
Ok, I’ve managed to bring the site back online after searching the Net for a number of solutions. The first problem I had was trying to install Cryptographp plug-in, which is a different catchpa solution, but the catchpa image wouldn’t show up here yet it worked fine on the test blog. I’m not entirely sure if it’s something to do with the .htaccess file but it’s more than likely.
Secondly, when I tried to disable the plugin, my customised K2 theme just broke. An issue with the widgets of WP2.0 and how K2 handles it’s widgets. Tried switching to an older theme whilst fixing the other problem of K2, but then eventually came to an issue of the cache screwing up. It’s funny how that happens since I don’t have wp-cache enabled.
Anyway there have been a lot of problems with the site, especially the slow loading and I think Dreamhost has not resolved this issue completely. Like I mentioned before, being on shared hosting sucks. If only I had the money and enough reason to have a dedicated server. If this continues on, I may look at a different webhosting earlier than expected.
