H20 ~Footprints in the Sand~ – 11
It was only a matter of time before Takuma would finally snap at Hayami, but damn I wouldn’t have fought he would actually beat her up. It kind of pissed me off seeing him trying to act as if he was sorry and tried to get Hayami to come back to his house, but even if he did, that lingering hate would revive once again. But poor Hayami, I can see getting beat up by the sleazy looking cronies is no big issue, but to be beaten up by Takuma to the state of having a broken arm is damn awful.
So once again Takuma has become blind, but it all comes with a slight twist. Apparently has always been blind and that all the time that he could see seemed to be all a dream. It’s rather strange how things have turned out as I always thought it was Otoha’s influence but remembering what she said to him back in episode 1 that it’s not that he can’t do it, it’s that he thinks he can’t, that could also play a part. It’s definite that the death of his mother caused such a shock for him to lose his sight, but once again, that shock of knowing Hayami’s family is responsible is making him revert back to being blind. But now Takuma is saving Hayami from being killed by Hotaru;s grandfather saying he’ll protect his mother…..WTF?? I can’t quite see where this is going but I can’t help but think Takuma has become delusional.
Hotaru was awesome this episode for that one moment when she slapped Takuma. He definitely needed a slapping since he’s starting to turn all emo and stuff. Yui I find has changed quite a bit now that she doesn’t hold such a grudge against Hayami. Too bad her sleazy cronies will always be sleazy. But Hotaru’s grandfather is really evil, even to the point where killing Hayami is an option. I still think that there is something more to why he wants Hotaru to partner up with Takuma other than to spite Hayami. Well seems like next episode is the last episode but I can’t help but think the whole ending is going to be one big rush. Either way I’m glad this series is finishing next episode.
