Just a small post to note that I’ve upgraded WP from v2.2.1 to v2.3.3. I’ve had a quick scourer of the site and all seems to be working. Any issues that may arise or if you find any issues, please either post a comment here or email me at adunATmoemoerabu.net. Also do people find my site loading slow at times? I think it may be a DreamHost issue or something.
On a separate note, I’m also looking for an alternate anti-spam filter as currently I’m using Spam Karma 2 v2.3 rc1-2 as it seems some commenters have had problems with the catchpa image not showing up. So any suggestions are more than welcome.

As I expected, Toraji decided to have Tamaki forfeit her match since she won’t be able to continue on. But the bigger surprise was how angry Tamaki really was seeing how she wanted to continue so badly but moreso that she didn’t realise she used her tsuki on Konishi. Still Toraji made the right decision and Kirino was the one that helped Tamaki calm down. As expected of the team’s captain. But even with Kirino, so much love for her. I just loved how she started to mellow out once she heard news of her mother, resulting in the team losing the match, but the most rewarding thing was that they all had fun.

Damn it certainly has been a long time since I last blogged about Wangan Midnight. The last post was WAY back in November, but I certainly haven’t forgotten about the series, I just been somewhat lazy to blog about it that I had to watch this episode again to remember what happened. Not that it’s a bad thing or anything. Anyway resuming from where episode 6 left off, Eriko stole Akio’s Z and decided to drive it to the harbour, hoping to take it to the bottom of the ocean along with her, but Tatsuya managed to ram the Z with his Porsche just in time to save Eriko.

Wow, now that was certainly exciting. I didn’t expect the basketball match to go so well and to end on such a high note that it almost makes all the sad moments we’ve seen get blown away. It has certainly raised the morale of everyone seeing how we only finished the Kotomi arc not that long ago but I think it’s also brought about a greater bonding between everyone, but moreso with Tomoya and Nagisa. I loved how Tomoya was thinking that everything was for nothing towards the last minute of the match, only to be brought back by Nagisa’s voice as it really seems to show that Nagisa is an important person to Tomoya. The music playing as well made watching the match much more enjoyable and it felt really fast paced.

Finally, some story progression is in sight after a rather disappointing trap episode. We get some clues to the nature of the Kagura family and that they are indeed after something that only Takuma can give them. I’m guessing he comes from a rather influential family that even he doesn’t know about. There is still that shrouded mystery of Takuma being the Promised One but looks like we still won’t find out more till later.

Kung Hei Fat Choi! Welcome to the Year of the Rat, and surprisingly enough, that is what I was born under! So hoorah! So here’s a Happy Chinese New Year to all my readers and may you be showered in red envelopes. I can’t really do much in terms of festivities since it’s still a work day, but I’ll be heading into the city to take care of some business but probably hit up Chinatown to see if the markets are on.
So once again, Happy Chinese New Year!

In my many years as a purchaser of fine anime goods, I rarely have come across any issues that I get told about from various friends or from the things that I have read online such as incorrect items being sent, damaged parcel boxes, or even worse, damaged goods. Really my main sources for the loot usually come from HLJ, Amazon Japan, and Tamarket, but I do occasionally like to purchase goods from various other stores. Just recently I decided to take that plunge once again and order something from another store, but this time around, this store is based in the USA. Honestly, I have not had anything imported from the USA well over 2 years ago since everything I wanted could be purchased directly from Japan, but this case was different.
Having posted about the ARIA Premium Poster Book 3 on HongFire’s Bragging Thread, I was lucky to have been directed to Animebooks.com by another member and apparently they had the ARIA Premium Poster Book 1 listed on their site. So I was quick smart to place an order and waited a week. Heard nothing so sent an email enquirying about it, was told it was out of stock. Ok, no biggie. Normally I thought when told such a thing, my order would be canceled, however that was not that case and about 2 weeks later, I get a notice about the order being shipped. This I found to be rather strange, but I was more excited about it arriving at my doorstep. Anyway after a few days, it arrived, and I was in for a certain surprise:

Instead of being sent Poster Book 1, I got sent Poster Book 2. orz. Anyway I fired off an email to Animebooks and hopefully they will fix this issue. Although depending on Animebooks policies, I can only hope this can be settled without it turning out ugly. So for the time being, I now own a 2nd copy of the ARIA Premium Poster Book 2. Of course I can only imagine how envious the ARIA fans out there are right now, lol.
