You have to love it when there is an anime series within an anime series, similar to Martian Successor Nadesico and Gekigangar 3, but with Bamboo Blade, it’s Blade Braver. Both share the awesome burning passion that is good versus evil, but there is a slight difference between the two. Bamboo Blade has Tamaki as the fan. Really, if there was Tamaki, I probably wouldn’t see Blade Braver being as awesome as it is. This episode shows HOW much of a fan Tamaki is and it sure brought us some funny, yet adorable and cute moments.

Impressions
Deep down Tamaki really is such an otaku when it comes to Blade Braver as this is definitely the most we have seen her talk. Of course I myself have seen how much people talk when they are passionate about something, even I myself. Though one interesting factor this episode is the introduction of a new character, Suzuki Rin, another Blade Braver fan. A little late for a new character but I’m just assuming she is here only for a few episodes before we move on, but it makes me wonder how the series will end as we are steadily reaching the end of the series very soon. However now that Tamaki has another person she can relate to, the friendship between Tamaki and Rin will be an interesting development and we’ll probably see Tamaki talk more.
Many funny moments this episode though mainly with Tamaki’s reactions, her display of burning passion, and her nervousness. Other moments include Satori’s hair standing up as if they were ears. Sayako and Kirino are great as usual, even though they talk in the mindset of the elderly, but I love how they always seem to pull out a tea cup out of nowhere. Next episode continues on with Tamaki and Rin, but seems that Miyako is continuing on with her training.
Also I now have the burning urge to go see one of those sentai shows in an amusement park. Perhaps I’ll goto one in Japan later this year.
