You know the last time I purchased a Dengeki G’s Festival was WAY back in December 2006, now that’s a long time ago, and what I got in that issue of Dengeki G’s Festival was full of Yoake Mae Yori Ruri-iro Na goodies and my beloved Feena dakimakura. Over the months since then, I haven’t noticed any other issues that have appeared at Kinokuniya, or there were things that didn’t interest me. However, about two weeks ago, when I went into the city for serious business, a trip to Kinouniya was in order. Of course I was there with my dear friend Roobar, and once again, the spending contest comes back to bite me once again. And this is one of the items I picked up:

Firstly, Fortune Arterial is the latest game from August Soft, the same company who brought us YoakeNa, Hani Hani Operation Sanctuary, and Princess Holiday. Personally I don’t know much about Fortune Arterial, but I’ve always liked the character designs of the girls from August Soft games and I still consider Fujieda Honami to be the best of them all. Moving along, let’s check out the contents of the magazine itself.

The first half of the magazine covers character profiles and various events that happen in the game itself. This is actually my first glimpse into Fortune Arterial and already my favourite girl would have to be Sendo Erika. Awesomely cute, long blonde hair~~ But then all the girls are pretty cute. I should probably play the game but I say that with a lot of games, lol.

The second half of the magazine consists of a gallery of all the lovely girls. Having only a handful of these illustrations, I so can’t wait till the official fanbook gets released. So that’s the end of the magazine. But what’s in the box? Well opening up this is what you get:

I think it’s a desktop accessory CD that contains voices of all the girls that you can use to replace the boring standard Windows sounds. Wish I could install stuff like that on the work PC. The other item is a phone hanger of Erika, which doubles as a screen wiper. Of course I’ll never use it, lol. But lastly, the BIG item that usually come with Dengeki G’s Festivals:

A lovely dakimakura cover of Togi Shiro. Shiro actually happens to be the favourite character of a friend of mine, so he’ll probably hate me when he sees this post. Unfortunately for me I already have Feena for my dakimakura and it’ll remain that way for a while. But I would have to say, if the cover was of Erika instead of Shiro, I’d need a bigger bed.

I wish I had a Kinokuniya in the country D:
Also, I can see all those figure boxes in the background lol
Zeroblade’s last blog post..CLANNAD 18 - totally awesome.
Wow that magazine has so much material! Nice one.
It’s Thursday today, so I’ll be visiting Kino after work, too. Hey, I’ve some questions. According to the Kinokuniya website, the Clannad DVDs and Sola Color DVDs are available, but I never see them anywhere. Do you know where they’re located? Also, I wonder if the Clannad visual fan book will come out, if it hasn’t already? Are you going to get it? Thanks man.

what?! another one…?!
The magazine has some nice stuff…too bad its pretty expensive at kino
Is that cute Togi Shiro dakimakura ur main reason to purchase Dengeki G’s Festival? As for game/cg art I believe just like Yoake Visual fanbook of that game will out momentary.
I went to japanese magazine shop in here in melbourne twice this month, but I didnt see dengeki festival 11
maybe they run out of stock already. So I bought March Comp H and dengeki moeoh instead, at least I still get koharu biyori figurine ^_^
I’m curious about the quality of the dakimakura compared to the full priced dakimakura.

Zeroblade: Shame you don’t have a Kinokuniya around, you’re missing out on a lot of things. Plus there are many more figure boxes around.
M12: That’s probably pulling data from the Japanese database for Kinokuniya. Personally I haven’t seen any Jap DVDs for sale, but the mark up for them would be HUGE if they did. Also there already is a Visual Fanbook, but not for the anime.
Bubby: All part of my growing empire!
HisuiIBMower4: Reason I bought Dengeki G’s Festival was first, I was having a buying competition with a friend. When that happens, we usually don’t care what we buy. Secondly, I liked the YoakeNa Dengeki edition, and I thought this would be a nice thing to buy.
ron~: Well if you like rubbing up against a smoother, silky kind of material, it’s actually pretty good.
