Finally, some story progression is in sight after a rather disappointing trap episode. We get some clues to the nature of the Kagura family and that they are indeed after something that only Takuma can give them. I’m guessing he comes from a rather influential family that even he doesn’t know about. There is still that shrouded mystery of Takuma being the Promised One but looks like we still won’t find out more till later.

Impressions

The focus this episode was the relationship between Hinata and Hayami, and we can see they have been good friends since they were little. But it’s rather strange seeing how everyone is no different from when they were young compared to their present self, except everyone hating Hayami. But I must say, young Hinata sure is cute, lol. So now that Hinata and Hayami have made up and what looksto be friends once again, I wonder what kind of repercussions this will cause in the town as it seems that Hayami and her family were treated as monsters. But of course there must be something deeper than that still if they were a threat to the Kagura family.

Speaking of the Kagura, Hinata’s little sister Hotaru looks very much like Otaha, and I’m speculating that they are the same person. Seems that Hinata’s grandfather was planning on having Hotaru become Takuma’s partner, but since she is gone, that is why Hinata is taking her place, perhaps this is what the Promised One is about. Well we won’t find out much more till later as next episode seems to be titled Yui, which is something I’m not looking forward to much.
