Moé Moé Rabu

I have said before that ARIA The Origination has taken the ARIA series to a new level, but after this episode, it has gone beyond everything that I love so much about ARIA. This episode was a special one as it covers on of my favourite chapters of the ARIA manga as we see Akari try out a traghetto, but more importantly, she meets other fellow undines. With the three undines, Atora, Ayumi, and Anzu, each with their own unique personalities has brought about a rather freshing feel to the overall series and they brought much interest into this episode.

Impressions

What I loved about this chapter of the manga was Akari’s slight wavering about her own ability to become a Prima, but her determination to keep doing her best and her belief that others can be the same. But in this episode, it feels much more magical in the way the cinematography was done but as well as the seiyuu’s themselves. I picked up Kuwashima Houko and Shiraishi Ryoko straight away as Atora and Ayumi, but didn’t realise Asumi Kana was Anzu. But I would have to say that Asumi Kana did the best job out of the three to bring out the best in Anzu.

Right now I can only imagine what the next episodes of ARIA will bring to us, and after seeing this episode, I’m yearning for more already. By far this is the best episode that has aired for this season so far, but I’m willing to hold out until I see the rest of the series to determine if it will remain that way. Next episode is focused on Aika and another girl that I haven’t seen from the manga, well from what I have read up to anyway.
