Moé Moé Rabu

Well it seems that things are moving along as normal after the end of the Kotomi arc but form the looks of things, we aren’t really in any of the other girls arc’s at the moment. This is somewhat strange given that the series itself is already on it’s 15th episode and there is still plenty of story to cover, unless KyoAni are planning on having two arcs on at the same time. Still, having the focus move onto other characters isn’t such a bad thing as this time around we’re focusing a bit on Sunohara.

Impressions

Obviously something did happen with Sunohara and Tomoya in the past with their respective sports club I’m hoping we’ll see a bit more on that as having more character development would be nice. But we did get some good development from both Tomoya and Nagisa from when Nagisa was crying and when she wanted to protect Tomoya from Sunohara. Such a shame that Kyou had to butt right into that beautiful moment as that is the part in the game where Tomoya confesses to Nagisa, so it kind of ruins the chance later on in the series. But we’ll have to wait and see how everything plays out.

Despite the Kotomi arc being over, I like how she is now a part of the group just like I mentioned before and that she won’t be totally forgotten. The only disappointing factor for this episode would be Fuko’s reappearance once again. Really her appearance just ruined a chance for Tomoya act all cool in front of Tomoyo and it also again further ruins her return at the near end of the series, assuming she does make a return.

Plenty of hilarious moments this episode, especially Nagisa’s reaction to Tomoya’s lie about Sunohara liking him. But I found it pretty funny as well with Sunohara following Tomoya around asking him to join the basketball match. Anyway next episode seems to be the basketball match but seems that everyone is interested in Tomoya’s love life. I look forward to next episode.

Merchandise of the Week

Yes I have more than just doujinshi when it comes to Clannad merchandise, and this one is a little special. Special in which I actually didn’t buy this myself, but I bought it off my friend Windbell. He was in Japan back in September last year and he managed to get a glimpse of the Clannad movie, but as well as purchase some Clannad movie merchandise. I just so happened to have bought these off him when he returned and this is one of the items:

It’s a Nagisa wallscroll! I was rather astonished at the size of this as I thought it was half the size before opening it. A shame really since I have no wallspace to hang this as I would love to hang this up. One day!
