You know that any episode with Hinagiku in it just makes it all the more awesome, but when it comes to the Katsura sisters, it makes it more so. I actually didn’t expect to see an episode focused on the Katsura sisters this late in the series, but probably for the best as I can imagine the last few episodes will be used to wrap up the series. Anyway, I’ve usually viewed Yukiji as more of a side character, but a more annoying one at that, but after this episode, I’ve come to slightly like her a bit more.
With everyone in shock of hearing Yukiji’s retirement from teaching, Hinagiku thinks back to the past and how Yukiji actually acted like an older sister to her, and that’s the part that made me like Yukiji a bit more. Of course who could ever resist being nice to such a cute little Hinagiku. I’ve always viewd Hinagiku as the strong and reliable type, but even she needs someone to rely on, and that is her sister. Ths episode we got to see a side of both sisters that we’ve never seen before which in itself is a pleasant welcome. Still, I find it great how Yukiji gave Hinagiku an otashidama, even if it was 10 years later of when she promised, but the fact remains that she kept her promise.
Well with some time left in the episode, we got to see a bit of Maria and Ayumu. Who’d thought Maria could kick some ass, even if it’s only a surprise self defense move. Of course being a Sanzenin maid and being protected by the SP, I guess she would’ve learnt a thing or two. Oh and it never surprises me how they can squeeze in time to show Ayumu eating something each episode. Also what is that snack that Maria got from Saki. Oh well guess I’ll never know.
Next episode, seems that Nagi is interested in Hayate’s weaknesses. Probably in hope to use that to advance her relationship with him. I wonder if he has any weaknesses given that Hayate can do almost everything. Plus the look on Maria’s face in the preview is gold.
