Impressions
I wasn’t really sure on what to expect with KimiAru when I did the season preview, but really there isn’t much to expect from this first episode either. The animation itself is an average level so don’t expect anything too flash, but what it makes up with is the little bits of humour we see throughout. And what brought out that humour was the characters themselves, and we sure have a large unique cast of characters. With a cast of well known seiyuu’s, they have done a good job so far of bringing out their characters, especially Itou Shizuka as Shinra.
To put this series in a simple way, think of this as Hayate no Gotoku crossed with He Is My Master, minus the alligator rape. But if we see something like that later on in the series then all hell would break lose. The Shinra fanservice at the start was a rather pleasant welcome, especially since I watched this when I woke up this morning before heading to work, I can imagine we’ll be seeing plenty more. I’m relatively sure that this is based off a h-game so it comes to no surprise.
Although I would say the start of the series isn’t really all that interesting, since the whole butler thing has been done already. Though I found it pretty funny how they had Ren facing off the Colonel Hayate no Gotoku style, plus I can guess we’ll see other similar references as well.Still, this series does warrant enough interest for me to continue watching, but definitely not a series to blog about. Not to mention I prefer Hayate no Gotoku over this so far for a simple reason: Hinagiku.

ED: “Butler Switch On!” by Goto Yuko
I’m not really a fan of Goto Yuko’s singing, especially after hearing her sing as Mikuru, even if it was purposely bad. I could never get over the high pitch in her voice so this ED theme does nothing for me. The same applies to the ED sequence.

Last year KimiAru was the second best sale hgame in jp right after key’s Little Busters.A lot of ppl have high hope of that anime.In the beginning of 1st ep they did an Hayate parody.But the first ep wasn’t that impressive.Anime can deviate from the original game greatly.
