Clannad 2008 Calendar

Instead of posting this within the recent Clannad episode post, I figured that this was worthy of being it’s own post. I’m not really a fan of collecting calendars, but when I saw that this was available on Amazon Japan, and at a reasonable price, I figured it would be a nice addition to my collection. Not to mention that I bought this in hopes that it would be combined with some other orders. Unfortunately Amazon decided to be a prick and ship it off two days before the other order was going to be shipped. Anyway it arrived just before the New Year and I upon opening it, I was in moé heaven. So hit the jump to check out the other pictures.

Let’s just say that I was literally drooling as I took these photos. They are just so awesome and with the current arc on Kotomi’s, the Kotomi image is just pure love. The one downside I find about these images is that the calendar part is actually a part of the image, unlike the ARIA ones where it’s in it’s own whitespace. Reason is that I was hoping to have these laminated or something similar so I can hang them up as posters when I find my own place.

The price for one of these is only a small ¥1600, which to me is like a day’s worth of food. So starving for a day for one of these is well worth it. Unfortunately for those who want one, it appears that Amazon Japan have run out of stock. Unless you have a friend in Japan who can find you one for the same price. Either way you’ll have to look elsewhere. Look forward to more Clannad merchandise of the week posts!

That’s no calendar.. It’s a 7-page posters with small numbers beneath them.

Why bother having soo many calenders where you cant even see the numbers o_O??
I wouldve saved up all that money for something else…

Some of the backgrounds are boring in some of them…but…

How did you separate the pages? O_o I’ve been trying to think of the most economical way to separate mine without ruining the actual poster pages.

Oh wait… nevermind… I looked closer and it looks like they haven’t been separated yet.

Kresnik: Lol, perhaps if I squint then they’ll look like posters.

Bubby: For ¥1600 it’s like spare change to me. Boring background perhaps, but who’d be staring at the backgrounds? lol

boggart: Yeah they’re not separated just yet, but I think ig oyou try rolling back the metal holder they may come apart.

Cool, thanks for the pics. My brother picked up one of these from animecornerstore. Unfortunately they are sold out though.

I didn’t even look at the backgrounds lol. Kotomi-chan looks so cute in that pic. (:

I would like to also contribute a thousand suns to that cursing…. Plus 20 suns worth of curse for the r….

That is really a good set of posters. And it looks too tempting…
Wait, it was a Calendar, wasnt it?

I dont use paper calendars, but that is so hella tempting that I would start just for it!

Hmmm… I tried peeling back the metal enclosure on the top of an old calendar, and it’s a lot of work… Haha… The end product isn’t so great either with the top part of the poster fold back upon itself a couple times. I think the only good way to separate these pages is the use a box-knife/Stanley knife to cut along the metal rim at the top… :(

I got that calendar too and my reaction was the same: moe heaven. Nagisa and Fuko FTW!
