With all the build up of Minatsu being bullied, it’s not all that surprising that an event like this can change everyone’s opinion about Minatsu. Still I kind of expected an event like this would happen as it needed a pretty large impact to change an entire student body opinion. But I think the one important thing this episode was how Maya’s opinion had changed about Minatsu and that she treats her differently. Kind of ironic how she believes that robots were what torn her family lifestyle apart, yet it is also a robot that saved her little brother. Funny how the world works.

Impressions
And just when things for Minatsu were starting to look up, bam another problem arises, but it’s probably a problem that has been looming over the whole situation. With Minatsu being kicked out of school, I’m guessing the next and final episode will resolve the issue and she’ll be able to stay with Yoshiyuki and friends. However they would need to pull out a pretty good reason to get her to stay at school so it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with. Perhaps Maya and the rest of the school will help in supporting Minatsu in order for her to stay.
Of course after last episodes Koko moment, we finally have reached the point where Koko has decided to end the relationship with Yoshiyuki, and wanting to go back to the way things were before. I really can’t believe it took 12 episodes to get to this point as really, Koko didn’t have all that much of a development throughout the series, which is rather disappointing. I can see even from the game that Koko’s story probably isn’t the most interesting, but it does have it’s moments, but in the anime, we got none of that. She got shafted many times through the series as most of the story development was leaning towards Minatsu.
Still I do wonder how everything will be within the circle of friends as once something started, you can never go back to what you were. But given that next episode is the last episode, I really doubt we’ll see that kind of situation arising. Still, one episode to go and we still have the Minatsu side of things to tie up, but also Yoshiyuki’s reaction to the break up with Koko.
