Moé Moé Rabu

Ah Satori finally makes her proper appearance in Bamboo Blade and she is just as cute and awesome as the rest of the girls. From the looks of things, Satori could possibly be on equal grounds with Tamaki in terms of skill, but neither of them have seen each other in a match but I think that will change in the next episode. Right now it appears that Satori will be joining the practice match since Kirino and Sayako got her wearing the kendo gear, and hopefully after the practice match, it’ll make her join the club.

Impressions

Kirino and Sayako are once again pure love this episode. Their reactions to finding Satori, but also getting her to join the club were just awesome. Sayako’s story about Satori was a nice way to start off the episode as I got a little confused watching it and hearing it’s about Satori, but then I am watching it under the influence of alcohol, so that just makes it weirder, lol. Still, I’m sure those two will keep pressuring Satori to join the kendo club, despite her not being able to. Though I found Satori’s reason to be a rather weak one and was hoping for something a bit more. But to sum it up, Satori is indeed the clumsy one out of the 5 girls and with the megane look and twin tails it fits her perfectly. Though when it comes to kendo, she is a totally different person.

Reimi makes another appearance this episode and she tries to get close to Yuuji, only to find out that he isn’t Miyako’s boyfriend. Now that Reimi knows the truth, I wonder if she would try something like that with Dan-kun, which would be rather awkward, so I don’t think she’ll go with that kind of plan. Other than the whole stalking and being creepy thing, I wonder what Reimi’s true agenda is by following Miyako. That is unless Reimi has switched sides and is actually in love with Miyako. But from the look of things now, Reimi’s presence is going to affect Miyako’s match for sure.

Another side of things is the girl Mei. It’s nice to see that the show focuses on the other team as well and that it links back to Muroe’s Kendo Club. Perhaps Mei’s attitude will change once she has gone through this practice match, and it could possibly be that her opponent could be Tamaki. Next episode will definitely be interesting as they start the practice matches.
