Moé Moé Rabu

Continuing on from last episode, Nagi and the Superintendent have now turned the grounds into a Comiket festival. And of course with this being Comiket ripoff, they sure inserted a lot of blatant references, but I liked how they also didn’t censor out Rondo Robe and were showing off Nagi’s character album. Anyway the whole doujin showdown was a little disappointing, as I was hoping that Hayate would actually create a proper doujin, but selling them amongst the cake of the butler cafe does work. Still, I’m always surprised at the amount of skills that Hayate possesses, but at least he combined two skills into one for this doujin showdown.

Impressions

This episode as well we get a mysterious character that appears, but we don’t see his face. From the looks of things, he is the mysterious character that has appeared in both opening sequences so I can only fathom that ths mysterious figure is Himegami, Nagi’s previous butler. Though even with a brief appearance, he made quite an impact on Nagi who was still in her hypnotized state, plus it shows that he knows Nagi very well. From the look of things, I think Himegami might make an appearance not for quite a few episodes as we still have at least 3-4 Dark Butlers left to attack Hayate as I’m sure Himegami will be the last one to face Hayate.

When Nagi came to try Hayate’s cake, I wasn’t surprised that she would snap out of her trance, since that cake was made just for her as a representation of Hayate and Nagi’s first meeting. Also I found it funny how they managed to get 2000 sales right at the end with Maria and Nagi’s SP. Though even if they lost, we’d get to see Hinagiku in a very embarassing maid outfit, and who doesn’t want to see that? Next episode will have some Maria screen time as she herself hasn’t had a lot. This time it’ll be her and Hayate on a date.
