For the past 30 episodes I haven’t been much of a Sakuya fan, but even after this episode, I’m still not. However I do have a greater appreciation of her as a character. This entire episode brings Sakuya into another light where before, she was seen as comedian, but this episode we see her as the mature one, and indeed the “onee-san” type. And she proves this by showing Nagi that she knows how to handle the two kids, where Nagi is simply trying to get them to do the same things she does.

Impressions
We also see some character development in Hayate, which I find rather hard to believe given that Hayate really has no solid plot, nor any reason to develop any of the characters this late into the series. But it was nice to see how little Nagi and Sakuya started off and how Nagi never really spoke to people. And now she is much more open, even though she is still a hikkikomori. But Sakuya is still somewhat the same Saku-neechan as she wanted to prevent Nagi from finding out about the kids true intentions. Still, I thought it was pretty funny how Sakuya’s treasure ended up being the comedy duo outfit (I forget the Japanese term for it), but alls well that ends well.
This week’s Butler Battle was just stupid. Really, I can see the next couple of Butler Battles just getting ridiculous and stupid until we get to something better. I really do hope these Butler Battles don’t go on for too long as I’ll probably end up skipping these parts of the episode if they continue.
