After a whole episode of revealing what Minatsu is to everyone, the series has once again taken another direction with everyone going on a school trip. A little strange seeing how the flow is towards the Minatsu side of things, but still, anything is better than the story focused on Minatsu at the moment. This time we’re focusing a bit on Koko and Yoshiyuki, but man, Yoshiyuki had pretty much neglected Koko throughout the entire trip so far and hasn’t really paid much attention to Koko at all. But with everything that happened so far on this trip, it appears that the two are getting further and further apart, yet Koko is making every attempt to be with him. But I get the feeling all her effort will be for nothing.

Impressions

Well from the looks of things, Yoshiyuki might be breaking his promise with Koko especially after the call he got from Yume. Obviously something must have had happen to Minatsu so it wouldn’t surprise me if Yoshiyuki decides to rush home and leave Koko behind, and that could be the one thing that could break them apart. If there’s one thing about the whole Minatsu thing right now, I feel sorry for Koko. As of late I’ve been appreciating the whole Yoshiyuki x Koko relationship, yet the whole theme of robots always seem to be on Yoshiyuki’s mind. Even when they were feeding animals, he brought up the topic of Minatsu. Really, I don’t think Yoshiyuki realises how much Koko loves him and that he doesn’t consider her feelings at all. Though I’m sure the idea of them being a couple has left Yoshiyuki’s mind a few episodes ago.

Seems like Maya has gotten some development this episode as it’s quite evident that she has a thing against robots. And given her reaction to Minatsu dropping by their class last episode, I get the feeling that Maya knows that Minatsu is a robot. Although it’s a little too early to tell if that is true or not, but with the build up with the whole robot story, I do see Maya playing some role in all of this. Also Sakura’s necklace just emanates a role in the overall story. Although I don’t quite clearly remember the reason for the necklace, but perhaps the sakura tree will come to play in the overall story, though so far I can’t really see a connection between Sakura, the necklace, and the robot storyline. Well guess I’ll find out in the next few episodes.
