Moé Moé Rabu

With a series like Bamboo Blade, I never thought that they could fit a lot of development of the characters in one episode, but they proved me wrong especially with this episode, yet they still managed to keep the story going. But I have to say, the first 2 minutes of this episode was pure love. Kirino and her various thinking poses were just awesome and has made me more of a Kirino fan. Plus I love how she has a sunflower printed umbrella as Kirino is such a bright character. Although I found it rather amusing how they decided to show off some fanservice shots with Kirino and Sayako by focusing on their breasts.

Impressions

This episode also answers the question I raised in the last episode about Miyako and Reimi’s relationship. Originally I thought that Reimi was stalking Miyako in the love kind of way, but I think the spiteful stalking method works better here, and so it seems Reimi is trying to make Miyako’s life a living hell. But she got Yuuji involved by mistaking him for her boyfriend, however Yuuji shows some balls and stands up for himself, which I thought was pretty cool. So now the club’s next practice match is against the same school that Reimi attends. This will be kind of interesting to see since Reimi doesn’t do kendo, so she might turn up and taunt Miyako whilst in her match.

Kirino also finally remembers the name of the potential 5th member, and with Sayako, they go off to search for her. Meanwhile we see that Ishida is doing his part in finding Azuma Satori and we also find out that there is a reason why she hasn’t joined the kendo club. From the looks of the preview, we’ll get to find out as well as it also seems that Satori will be joining the kendo club. Tamaki got some nice development this time as well, plus seeing a young Tamaki is so cute~~~ But we also find out that her mother was a good kendo fighter, and it’s probably where Tamaki got inspired to do kendo, other than being a hero of justice. I look forward to the next episode.
