Moé Moé Rabu

Well this was rather interesting, a new character is introduced, yet she isn’t the 5th member of the kendo club, but in fact, she is somehow related to Miyako. Odajimi Reimi, she’s definitely cute, but underneath that cute exterior is probably something much more than what I can expect, and it seems that she gave Miyako a lot of grief in their middle school days. Perhaps she is also the reason why Miyako has her black side to her personality, but I guess we’ll find out later in the series, or perhaps in the next episode.

Impressions

Tamaki was so cute when she received her paycheck, but the store owner is also right, Tamaki has changed quite a bit over the episode in which she actually talks more often, but she also interacts with the other members of the club more often as well. Oh and seeing her father’s reaction to receiving a present was hilarious since he gave off that serious front first. Such a shame that she can’t get the DVD boxset for now, perhaps soon she will.

Anyway the story is kind of moving along, the kendo members have entered a small competition, and of course Tamaki is the only one who progresses, but it’s also good to see everyone improving, including Dan-kun to an extent. But of course, Kirino also got a hint for the 5th member they need for their team, and it seems she’ll be introduced VERY soon. Though I do wonder why it’s taken this long to get her introduced, but luckily this series is slated for more than 13 episodes. There appear to be many side stories that will pop up, such as Miyako and Reimi’s relationship, but also Tamaki and her mother. We also got some development on Toraji as we see the reason he lost his passion for kendo, but I do hope to see him regain that passion as the series progresses. So far the characters who’ve had the most development I would say are Toraji, Miyako, and Tamaki. Though I would like to see some more on Kirino and Sayako, but currently they are more of the comedy duo so far. Well all I can do for now is watch some more.
