Not much happening in this episode, but at least we get a small development to show that there is at least some underlying plot to keep the story going. The new goal now is the hopefully the Kendo Nationals and win in order for Toraji to keep his job as a teacher. Now that with things like this, it’ll speed up the introduction of Satori. Though she did get another appearance this episode, and rather early into the episode as well. Though I found it funny how Tamaki yelled out “Welcome” when Satori just happened to be the next customer.

Impressions
We’re also seeing Dan and Miyako improving on their kendo skills, but I see this as obvious if you practice everyday. Still with Miyako using a thrust on Sayako was rather surprising as it does show that she does have some skill. So I can only imagine what the future matches will be like when everyone has improved. But really, seeing Sayako’s and Kirino’s reactions are just pure gold. With their troubles with mid-term exams, it kind of does show that they are pretty ditzy, but that’s what makes them so awesome.
Plenty of laughs out of Toraji this episode as well, plus shows that trying to battle against old women in shopping is like a death trap. Makes me wonder if it’s like that in Japan, where middle-age wives can get nasty when it comes to shopping. Although it’d be kind of scary to see if it was real, lol. But I think the other message is that beware of the middle-aged wives, as they have a network going and are not afraid to use it! Still, with Toraji in danger of losing his job, at least it’ll get the story going. However it seems that we’re going to another side story since we now have another character being introduced. Not sure if she’s a regular, but looking at the preview, she appears to be quite evil, much like Miyako. Can’t wait to watch it.
Also to note, I’m hoping to get through episodes two at a time so that I can catch up with what I’m behind on. Of course it’ll only be to whatever the subs are, unless I have the time to watch both raw and sub versions.
