Moé Moé Rabu

After such a brilliant last episode, I seriously can’t believe we’re gone back to a Minatsu story. I had a glimmer of hope that we would at least focus on another girl, like the Anzu or some more Koko development, however I knew everything was in despair after the first 2 minutes in. I’m not sure why they decided to do another Minatsu episode, unless she is vital to the overall story, but right now I can’t really see how it all plays since Yoshiyuki is still with Koko. But as of late, we haven’t seen Yoshiyuki spend time with Koko all that much anyway, so she’s kind of put to the side for the time being.

Impressions

But even with this being a Minatsu episode, we do see some slight drama building up, now that everyone knows that Minatsu is a robot. It’ll be kind of interesting to see how the next few episodes will play out now that the cat’s out of the bag, but I think the most interesting thing this episode was at the end, with the class rep, Maya, being somewhat suspicious of Minatsu. Not much is revealed much this episode but her suspicious might only be because of Minatsu constantly dropping by their class for lunch, or it might be something more. I’m not sure if Maya played a role in the Minatsu arc since I never played her arc. I found her equally annoying in the game, but it’s good to see Maya get some screen time. Class rep, megane, and purple hair FTW!

I’m hoping we get to see something about the sakura tree soon, as seen in the screens above, we see a floating sakura petal pass by before the billboard fell down, despite it going against the laws of physics and civil engineering. So I can only imagine the sakura tree rising up in the storyline, but I can only hope that it is. Even lately we haven’t seen Yoshiyuki have a dream of someone else’s dream, even though we’re getting more into the dramatic aspects of the series. But now that we only have 5 episodes left, and this being a Minatsu episode, things are starting to look grim.
