So once again, Hayate has gone back to being somewhat fillerish after last episode’s little development. Although I didn’t mind this episode as I tend to enjoy watching episodes that circle around Ayumu as I find her to be pretty cute. With this episode focusing around amnesia, I figured that we would get an episode like this sometime in the series as it’s a pretty standard story, but I do find it funny how Hayate was just acting as if he had amnesia because I wouldn’t have found it as funny.

Impressions
Though what I do like is how Hayate has now taken the responsibility of dealing with those who are after the Sanzenin estate, but really, we’ll have to see more people other than Gilbert going after it. The whole underground weapons factory was pretty funny and shows that Hayate is now prepared for anything to come, so hpefully we get to see more of Hayate getting into fights.
Although this is fillerish, we do get some development between Nagi and Ayumu. Nagi was surprised at how Ayumu stood her ground, despite it being a weak attempt, but their rivalry still continues. Still it was rather funny seeing Ayumu claim that Hayate was her butler, though I’m sure she wouldn’t have mind if that was the case. I hope we get to see more Ayumu episodes later in the series. As for the next episode, there’s finally a new OP. Still I do wonder if it can be as good as the 1st OP.
