Moé Moé Rabu

Last episode we saw quite a development, but right now, it’s kind of slowed down once again. We’re once again back to the same routine of seeing Renji and Chihiro talking, but then she does have a memory disorder. However I think the only interesting part this entire episode was Chihiro’s comparison of herself to the sheep in her math problem. I found it to be a pretty good analogy of her situation where her mindset is always at the point where she got into the accident, and the length of 13 hours is the reach of her arm. I guess you could see it as her arm reaches out to 13 hours, before pulling it back, thus resetting time again.

Impressions

But still, it is kind of depressing on how Chihiro can only remember Renji hugging her through the diary that she keeps. Although it does bring to mind that she may remember it moreso as the series progresses. Also this episode we find out how Chihiro got her memory disorder, as well as losing her eye. With Kei feeling the guilt, is that why they only communicate via email? Does Kei feel so much guilt that she can’t face her own sister? At this rate, I don’t think we could ever see Renji and Chihiro’s story cross over with Hirono, Miyako, and Kei’s love triangle. Then again, this is supposed to be a tale of two.

A small amount of tension is starting to build up between Miyako and Kei, but nothing too exciting just yet. I loved how Kei hides the way she calls Hirono in front of Miyako, until she blew up in anger and was more honest with herself, but she heself didn’t realise it. Guess she wanted to keep their relationship a secret. However right now Kei doesn’t have much ground to stand on against Miyako, as Miyako slapped Kei down by mentioning it’s Hirono’s choice. Still, I don’t see anything developing between Kei and Hirono as Hirono himself hasn’t really developed any feelings for either of the girls. But now Kyosuke has joined the group, wanting to date Kei. So it’ll be interesting to see how that develops and see if Kei will use Kyosuke to get to Hirono.
