This time around, Sora is paired up with Kurihara and are off on a sketch drawing trip. The pairing seems a little odd at first, but it does well in showing us a different perspective of the two girls. Although still from Sora’s point of view, through this trip she comes to understand that Kurihara looks at things differently to what Sora sees, and that is what shows the difference between the two girls.

Impressions

But we don’t only look at things from Sora and Kurihara’s perspective, but also from Hazuki and Natsumi in their daily lives.Hazuki seems to be the time that thinks things through thoroughly and always comes to a conclusion, where Natsumi on the other hand does things that come to her mind. The point of perspective is the theme for this episode, and from these various perspectives, we get character development as well. Kurihara is definitely the over energetic type who tends to love insects. Heck she’s even brave enough to have a stick insect crawl on her face. But I think she is a nice comparison to Sora, who thinks she is a little weird, but I find Sora a little odd at times, especially when she doesn’t seem to speak a lot.

A few humourous and cute moments, like Sora’s facial expressions to the things that Kurihara was doing, and her getting a little irritated on trying to open the onigiri. Kasugano-sensei was also another unique character. who’d thought she would deck out her car with chicken plushies, not to mention have a yakitori pillow, now that’s a fan of chicken. I loved how she was so enthusiastic about driving, yet she was going at such a pace that other cars were overtaking her. Kind of befitting for this kind of series.

Next episode seems to be things from the cat’s perspective. I wonder how that would work? Somewhat like Aria-shachou’s day out?? Can’t wait to see.
